But I always love the rankings. I watch a lot of basketball and could never pull off that big of a list and be even close to correct

You can have a preseason poll ... then just take a more 'liberal' approach in moving teams up and down after weeks one, two and three ... LOL

darn conservatives, they can never get anything right.

You radical OU/Athens hippies need to stop taking so many dips in the Hocking River and take a few less trips to Court Street. We live more incrementally in the rest of Southeast Ohio. :122249

Could we see a change in the top 8 with Minford rolling over Chillicothe? Minford looks to be more than deserving of a top
8 spot now!

TEAMS "on the court" ultimately determine if they enter the promised land of the Elite 8 ... Beating Chilli AND losing to Watterson on a last second shot ... The Falcons have a star beside their name for this week ...

Could there be a top 8 matchup between Minford and Warren next Friday night?

Just a casual observation from a fan that's not seen much of portsmouth --- but I don't see anything close to a number one team in SEO . I know I had to catch them on a bad night without S Oliver in the lineup but this PHS team seems not to have enough overall talent to make much a run ... Or is SEO that far down this season ? Yeah Alison is a stud but unless Oliver is nearly as good I don't see enough parts to make a top team . Last night they looked totally like a one trick pony .

Oliver is a huge factor with his ball handling, defense and ability to penetrate.

If you haven't seen Oliver then you have no idea what he provides for this team.without him the Trojans are playing on three cylinders, with him, they have a shot at beating anyone, He provides so much at the top of their defense, creating so many problems for the opponent. Don't sell this young man short

Oliver is a huge aspect of Portsmouth game no doubt about it but remember Chillicothe was without their best player and probably the best player in the area and pretty much handled Portsmouth. Not saying Portsmouth isn't legit because they have a great shot to go deep in the tournament but I don't think they are the best team in the area.

… probably one of the BIGGEST intangibles that Sky Oliver brings to the Trojans is his "maturity" on the court … court presence, patience ALL come to mind when I think of the PHS duo of Kyre Allison, Sky Oliver … the next attribute that Oliver brings to the hardwood IS that he spearheads the Trojan pressure … he IS the Trojan's "next gear" in applying pressure defensively …

… with that said - THIS win for Chillicothe was HUGE !!! Tommy Bolte and DJ Vinson make their return to the Cavs this coming week … but the time CHS has had to play on without Bolte & Vinson have made the Cavs deeper AND a better ball club - I will be watching the Cavs progress when both Bolte/DJ are back full go in the next 2 weeks …

Portsmouth without Oliver is like a steamboat in the river without a paddle.
