The Peake had a great showing tonight. Once the first game jitters went away, it was all Chesapeake.

thanks bear n ya'll for the updates. from what I'm seeing it was a rough night for the ovc. it looks like peake won big

and losses by Portsmouth, ironton, south point, rock hill, coal grove and fairland. did I miss anybody.

symmes valley. though not an ovc team won it's starter.

so we got some work to do.chesapeake hosts alexander next week, fairland travels to the burg, south point hosts rock creek, Indiana-ironton hosts Russell.coal grove hosts valley, rockhill hosts northwest,and outside the ovc. symmes valley hosts buffalo, wva. so a tough set of game 2's on the way. no rest for the weary. I hope all the teams never had any serious injuries.

a lil early for that hoss. but we let one get away with them burgites. you may be right. but we're only in week 2. and right now that's all the tigers should be worried about. and can't get caught looking ahead either at them beechwood tigers. Russell will be a handful themselves.

I read on here a lot about the OVC and how weak it is. Are they that weak or are they playing the cream of the crop from the other conferences?

both. but hoping it improves. ironton lost to burg, who's tough. 14-6------------------------burg has beat ironton and fairland. the grovers lost to a tough opponent week 1 in marion pleasant. fairland has lost to Johnson central, ky. and wheelersburg, both excellent teams.chesapeake is 2-0 with wins over oak hill and alexander. Portsmouth dropped their first one to a very legit valley team.the pointers lost week 1 to a much improved Minford team, rock hill lost to river valley. so a bit if both.
