With some of the Athens results they might not be a top 5 team..............unless a lot of football player haven't wrestled yet.

Athens had two starters out 170 and 195. Tomorrow night Logan vs Nelsonville-York and Gallia vs Nelsonville-York will say a lot about these 3 teams. Lets get a list of names together post them and then start sorting out a top 4.

zane trace had a good weekend last weekend.
It is still way to early in the season but we should have some solid kids to send into the postseason
this past weekend we dualed fremont ross, napoleon, shelby, cloverleaf, and indian lake
We didnt win a ton, but we traveled to nw ohio and were in good 6 minute matches all day long
Matt carroll did go 5-0 defeating a couple district qualifiers-- a good summer of wrestling has really paid off for him

gallia academy is really young. They are pretty good right now. but will be better down the road this year. And with only one senior i think on the roster. very good the next couple of years

Nelsonville-York beat Gallia while starting 6 Freshman, 1 sophomore, 1 Junior and 3 seniors. They also have a nice 8th grade group coming up.

Thanks just wanted to get some talk going about kids from are area. Does Belpre, Warren, or Logan, or Waterford have any other kids. I know Warren has Congleton and Parson, they will be tough. Those are some teams I usually don't see.

Also Tric good luck at Brockville that will be a great experience!It will help in the post season

Logan has Brady Garren 182 very good freshman and Joey Boling a good 152. Warren has Pahl 285, Congleton 138 and Parsons 160 and Belpre Has Tullious 145. Not sure on Waterford.

stalnaker got beat this weekend by a kid from Jackson I believe
waterfords best kid is offenberger I think
