Fort Frye 49 @ Warren 65 Final
Should be a great game. Not sure the Cadets can handle the pressure. Cadets must play better defense and make free throws. They do have 7 of 8 players that can knock down the 3.

Re: Fort Frye (2-0) @ Warren (3-0) 12/16)
Cadets are lead by 3 double digit scorers SR Seth Legraen (18.5) , SO Justin Anderson (13) , and JR Carter Kiefer (11). If Cadets can handle the pressure they can win this ball game.

Warren continues it's domination of Washington County schools. 65-55

Fort Frye has an outstanding team but so do the Warriors. The Big Bad Blue with there pressure D will be a tuff matchup for the Cadets. The Warriors go 10 deep so while they are constantly applying pressure D they still have fresh legs come the 4th quarter. The Big Bad Blue will come at you in relentless waves of defensive pressure that wear teams out physically.
Although the 2 wins Warren had this summer will have no bearing on the game it did serve as a reminder that minus Evan French the Warren Warriors are still The Big Bad Blue!

My entire reason for thinking FF is not as good this year comes down to games like this one without Lang. I watched teams rattle them when he was in foul trouble last year and I believe it to be their major weakness.
If FF wins this one, I will have been proven wrong.

Cadets are deeper this season running out 8 solid players. If and that's a huge IF the Cadets can handle the press they can make this a game. This is the kinda game that gets you ready in March.
Re: Fort Frye (2-0) @ Warren (3-0) 12/16)
This is probably a closer game than it's been in a couple years, but I'd still have to take Warren at home.

2 of the BEST teams in SEO year in year out going at it twice a year … both Washington Co. squads … a great barometer game for both teams in the early going … good luck to Coach Maddox and the Warriors tomorrow night …

Re: Fort Frye 49 @ Warren 65 Final
Fort Frye in a ZONE!!!! What was that????? In all my years watching these two teams have some great games I have never seen Fort Frye in a ZONE. Trying to slow down the Warriors. Well whatever, it worked for a very shot time as the Cadets jumped out to a 5-0 start. THE warriors found the rim inside and out and they were off and running.
Close at the half 30-22 Warriors up. But the pressure went up about 3 gears and 6 points in :52 sec. was just what coach asked for in the locker room.Game over!!!!!
Here are some stats:
Warren
26 of 65 field goals 40%
4 of 21 3s 19 %
10 of 16 foul shots 62%
23 defensive rebounds
12 offensive rebounds
6 turnovers
Fort Frye:
19 of 52 field goals 37%
5 of 18 3s 28%
6 of 12 foul shots 50% 23 defensive rebounds
9 offensive rebounds
18 turnovers
Hall 24 points 12 rebounds, Kidder 20 points 7 rebounds for Warreen
Legaen 18 points for Fort Frye
Warren jvs won 58 to 39 Gandee 17 and Huffman 13
