Jackson was handed 4 yellow cards; Waverly collected 1 yellow card. Jackson played a man down the whole second half, not sure why the refs allowed them to sub on a double yellow with under 2 minutes in the first half. A big physical game nonetheless.

They eliminated the soft red 5 years ago... you play a man down after double yellows.

I guess the refs at FU the other night didn't know this. Kid from Heath got sent off for double yellows but they allowed them to sub in a player. My son is taking classes to be a ref and coaches at FU and he was livid!!!!

Should be able to. Although, possibly could treat it as a forfeit victory? I'd much rather play another game and I know the kids would too.

The positive is that they cancelled it early so those schools should have plenty of time to find another game if they so desire.
