Ironton will be about the same as this year. Beat up on KY teams and get thrashed by the Pirates. 8)

Caldwell should field another strong team. Return a vast majority of the team, and many key components.

I wouldnt count out the freshman qb the burg had this year, the kid looked pretty talented to me.

I would say Burg has a good coaching staff but the last 5 years goes to Valley hands down.

West I think could be better in 2015 if they find a QB. Last years 3 year starter had his issues when throwing the ball. I would say the worst of seen at West in 10 years throwing the ball. He would have been a better receiver or running back but just would not accept the role.

Ironton will win ovc.

Not sure how soc2 goes.
The OVC is in the worse shape I have ever seen it. RH, SP, Fairland and Portsmouth have chosen not to hire coaches that know how to build a program. Anyone can hire Coaches. These schools BOE need to step back and take look at the reasons they have hired coaches that could not turn their PROGRAMS around.

Valley gained a lot of experience last night against what looks like the state champ again. 2015 looks like it will be another very good year for Valley (only losing two starters). The SOC 2 should be very competitive and get these guys ready for the playoffs next year. Hope to see a few teams from the conference make deep playoff runs next year.

Agree. Valley winning the region and hanging in with kirtland shows how mentally tough the Indians especially going 1-2 in last three games. Valley only loses two starters but those guys will be extremely hard to replace. A lot of offense production leaving, but they will have other kids step up.

I'm going with burg again next year, mainly because they are defending champs. The twins will be back, the center and tackle will be back. Both running backs. The defense is what will need work. They will have 5 starters back. Going to be fun. Minford, west and waverly will be hard to beat as well. Next year could be a three way tie easy

Brown and Loop will be gone...but Romanello, Rolfe, Basham and Howard all come back. There will be plenty of offensive production next season.

I am not impressed with the Defense that Valley has.. They may score their share of points, however the will not stop most teams from scoring...

Valley's Defense was playing great down the stretch. They held Kirtland to a season low 28 points and 14 of those were late. Valley will be a very good defensive team next season.

The only thing that could hurt valley is if they have to rely on guys to go both ways. Their defense isn't as good as it was a couple of years ago, but they can make enough stops to win most games.

I like Valley next year. I think not having their coach on the sidelines hurt them in the middle of the season, as he got healthier they started playing better. Ironton will do their thing in the OVC the first year in but after that we will see.

They will have to improve immensely to be considered a very good defense.. The Burg will be the Team to beat in the next few years....

I agree Ironton will do their thing next year. I think the OVC AD's need to start hiring coaches that know how to build programs. If I was the AD it would have only taken me about one day to fire the following coaches - SP, RH, Fairlands and Portsmouth. I still don't understand what RH is doing but for sure if you want to coach that is the place to go. No matter how bad you are they will keep you!

How many Valley games did you watch this year and when did you watch them?
