How many Valley games did you watch this year and when did you watch them?

Many with film... In person Portsmouth, West and the Burg.. Enough to make my statement...

Week One - Open
Week Two - Valley
Week Three - Ports. West
Week Four - @South Point
Week Five - @ Rock Hill
Week Six - Fairview
Week Seven - Ironton
Week Eight Fairland
Week Nine - @ Portsmouth
Week Ten - Chesapeake

Don't know anything on a week one opponent but the Grove is going to have to step it up in the offseason to handle this schedule!

My too early to guess opinion would either be Davis (Sr) or Garrett (Soph).

West will probably be more dependent on the run this next year. With irwin and Davis they were mostly a passing team. I think irwin finished with 1,100 yards passing this season. They were usually best when passing. The class of 2016 is a hard nosed group they should be in playoff contention again.

West I think could be better in 2015 if they find a QB. Last years 3 year starter had his issues when throwing the ball. I would say the worst of seen at West in 10 years throwing the ball. He would have been a better receiver or running back but just would not accept the role.

Didnt the 3 year starter throw for 1,100 yards this year? Probably the best west has seen in half a decade passing.

I see what you are saying but I believe he had way too many interceptions. I would say his interceptions were double his TD passes.

Athens

Loses a lot but has most of the line coming back, Saltzman, and Wiseman. Freshman Albin will take over as QB. The OU offensive coordinators kid

Is Albin currently a freshman or an 8th grader?

16 TD's and 13 Int. It was a great turn around for the senators this year to be able to pass the ball then pound the run when they had to.

That is alot of interceptions in one year for a three year starter. (13) As you said before he threw for over 1,000 yards but I believe his TD to Interception ratio was the reason he did not make all district. Good luck next year!

Quick question, how are teams such as Oak Hill and Northwest able to switch between SOC I and SOC II in different sports?

West played excellent football this year. West had a completely different outlook and scheme that the boys took to quite well. West will continue to improve going forward imo.

Valley
Burg
Minford
Ironton
In that order.
IRONTON could easily reign supreme if the coaching staff gets these boys in order. I just don't think the players as a whole want it like in the past. They need weight room all year. If the coaches can get them to do that, the rest should fall in place. Stronger, mentally aware, &conditioning is what I'm referring to. The quality of players are present, but without what I mentioned means nothing. The line play was missing against a decent team.
The ovc kills their chances in playoff qualifying with two losses or more.
