Tragic loss of SP linebacker and cheerleader
Prayers to the family of Jacob Damron a junior linebacker and running back who passed away today from injuries due to a car crash. He was a funny,charming, hard hitting football player for the Pointers. His girlfriend and cheerleader had also died due to injuries the next day. Pray for Sara Thoman's family as well. RIP #2 you will be missed! RIP Sara, together for eternity!

I came out Lick Creek on my way to work a little bit after the accident, awful site to see. My Prayers go out to all involved in this tragic accident. Prayers to Jacobs family and friends on their loss and I Pray for a healthy recovery for Sara and those injured in the other vehicles. Prayers to all of the South Point community.

Prayers to both families. I have a teenage son who is driving on his own also, I don't even want to imagine the sorrow and pains of such losses this is bringing on the families. May god bless them all and ease their suffering.

Please continue to pray for our community and especially the teammates of Jacob. We learned yesterday that two of the boys on the team also lost their 7 year old special needs sister as well yesterday. Such a sad time for the Pointers!
