Embrace the challenge...take it head on..you never know what will happen. Good luck. My guess of location is Logan or Athens.

They played this game last year at Nelsonville. Could be there or maybe Chillicothe. From what I have read on other post Logan did not submit a request to host. Wheelersburg will be the visiting team in this game. Don't care where they play. Burg people will be there.

I think we have a sure shot at winning this game! Our overrated D has done a very good job this year. Last year our D was a lil younger/smaller/ less experienced than this year, I think this is the year we slow down Hartleys Offense and put a few more points on the board then Hartley! GO PIRATES!!!!

According to the Logan Daily News Logan DOES want playoff games. The state just did not pick them. I don't see Nelsonville-York getting any after the power problems.

Chillicothe would be fine with me. They let a DIII game be played there so surely it could handle a DV game. Hopefully not Nelsonville. I hate that drive and we just don't have any luck in that stadium.

I'm hoping for chillicothe.....and yes nelsonville is a joke for playoffs, imo its like playing in sciotovilles stadium...lol (just a lil exaggeration) and the drive is crazy! chilli would be good cause both schools can just go up or down 23 within an hrs time

As the Philistine moved closer to attack him, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet him. 49 Reaching into his bag and taking out a stone, he slung it and struck the Philistine on the forehead. The stone sank into his forehead, and he fell facedown on the ground.
To hear talk this will be a David vs. Goliath game. We shall see

Burg can win this game. They have the defense to contain and they have the offense to move the ball.

Hopefully Chilicothee gets this game. Even drive for both schools. Like D-5 said NY is a horrible place to play a regional final game. I would almost think Burg wouldn't care to play this at Hamilton Township. Sure, closer drive for them but I would much rather drive straight up 23 then have to drive to nelsonville.

Well this is the game that Jolly P and 06 has been popping off about for the past 4 weeks. It is now time to see who the better team is. All year Region 17 fans have been talking about how tough this region is but so far it has been dominated by the higher seed. Now is the time to find out the truth. It is #1 vs #2. It should be an interesting matchup. Good luck to both teams!

Besides the drive, what makes Nelsonville a joke?

I can agree with the power problems. The seating is what it is almost anywhere you go in SE Ohio. The power problems will keep them from hosting for a while IMO

Good luck Burg

Nelsonville seating isn't anything like the seating in SE Ohio... Portsmouth, Burg, Jackson, Athens, Valley, Chillicothe all have massively better seating on both the home and visitor sides... Nelsonville seating would be the smallest in the SOC II i am pretty sure

Agreed...

As for this game....once again the SOC2 has 2 teams deep in the playoffs again.

Tee it up Pirates and go get em. Good Luck

Pooping off? Stating facts. We get our chance while everyone else is sitting at home. Burg is a great squad. One of the best I have ever seen. We strap em up and play ball. Tough, hard nosed ball. 8)
