I do know that if the state put Athens @ Logan, there would likely be more Logan, and surrounding areas' fans show up than Desales would bring with a game on their home field! Not to mention, Logan has been top notch hosting the three playoff games I've watched there.

Ok Is anyone positive that it's a rule in Ohio High school that the higher seed team gets to play closer to home or has it just been a courtesy thing? I'm not able to find a set rule on that on their website.

No rule what so ever. I think they are conscious of it, but that's about it.

Nothing official, but people close to the team say they have been told Logan is the 1st choice. Shouldn't be overly surprised, Athens played in the regional final at Logan last year as well against a Columbus team.
