Hopefully, he'll enter the stadium just a little bit rattled from solid coaching and a studious film review. Invincible QBs throw jump balls. If he thinks "I'm Joe Burrow" like all you star struck fans then someone else will be saying I'm pick six. A little nervousness is the best medicine against presumption and complacency. Puts the edge on one's focus. Have no fear going in, and you might be overwhelmed with it at crunch time. Week 13. Time to dial up the mental preparation.
I normally don't say anything about other people's post because I believe everyone is entitled to their own opinion (and the right to voice it if they so chose).

But - this comment just cracks me up. I have read it several times and it makes me chuckle every time. I am referring to the "If he thinks "I'm Joe Burrow"" comment. Uh, he is Joe Burrow. Who is he supposed to go in there thinking he is? That is the funniest and strangest comment I have read on here. It may have been more appropriate to say if JB goes in there thinking he is Payton Manning or Tom Brady - but to say someone shouldn't go into a game thinking they are who they actually are? Can you imagine Coach Adams saying to JB before the game "now don't go in there thinking you are Joe Burrow". LOL.

I also don't think anyone is star struck - I just think the people have respect for what JB has done because they realize what a talent and fine young man he is.

Listen, the Bulldogs may get beat Friday night, who really knows and we will have to wait and find out. But what we do know is that Joe Burrow won't get rattled. This guy loves the big stage and the bigger the stage the more calm, steady, and focused he is.

I hope you're right, but I was at the Marion Franklin game last year, and they all looked anything but calm and steady. Lol. Let's hope they get over that hump this year, and on to the final four! Good times in Athens county!

I don't recall rain at the Marion Franklin game last year. I just recall that being at Logan, and I got a call from work that I tried to take over by the gate. I was annoyed, but would've been way more annoyed if it was raining. :-D

It was cold, windy, and drizzling throughout the whole game last year with MF. At least this year we just have cold (extreme cold) to deal with, but no rain and hopefully no wind.

Good luck Bulldogs.

That call from work must have distracted you because it was cold, drizzling rain and wind the whole game.

I put together a "Media Guide" with rosters, stats, history, and more for tonight's game.

You can check out a PDF at LoganFootball.com and clicking on the "DOCS" section.

Hoping for a great game tonight at Logan Chieftain Stadium!
