They will play tough early on but they will get weighed upon. Then look for play action to open it up. We have 3 good receivers and a cpl TE's that can catch the ball. JMO
Could try that. I'm expecting to see a whole lot of read from you guys though. #7 makes good decisions with the ball fake and is far and away your most effective runner. We will need to hurry those decisions.

They will take what LU gives them. May had a huge game last week as well as Burk, but that doesn't mean you will see that game plan this week. Anyone can be effective behind that Oline. We will just have to come out to the game and see what happens next. Burg from week to week can change what style of running attack they will use.

How does they Burg team look on max preps?

I'd throw a 50 yd bomb on the first play of the first series, if I was Woodard...Set the tone, loosen the defense....and then pound the rock between the tackles...get the big fellars pounding early and often....linemen love it and the Burg has the beef this year to move a pile....

West was missing 4 starters against LU and still should of won.
LU qb was who hurt us that young man runs the ball very well and has a cannon.
I just don't see this game being that close. Cal preps has the score about right I think. 31-13.

Burg is the better team by far but LU made it to week 11 for a reason.
Play hard Burg and get that win.
Good Luck Pirates

I second that. has the burg recovered an onside kick this year? Im guessing about 0 for 15-20 on the onside kicks this year. Give it up.

Unless u execute it like u did when u actually RECOVERED the ball!! LOL. Instead of kicking to the best returner by kicking onside, why not kick a worm burner? Much more chance of a fumble/mishandle that allows the defenders to get to the ball quicker imo.

They have been confident that their defense can stop anyone at any time. They do it because the good out weighs the bad.

From what I have seen, if Burg is able to stop the LU RB then LU is more likely to throw on 1st and 2nd down. If LU gets caught one dimensional then it could be a long night. The last 3 weeks Burg is only allowing 34.6 rushing yards per game. That will be a HUGE factor again as the Pirates defense looks to shut down another stellar rushing attack.
