After careful consideration I think the BOE should do the following.
1. Hire Curt Clifford
2. Purchase some Throwback jerseys for the team for next season
3. Play all of our games at Spartan Municipal Stadium
This seems to be what will make the supporters of Trojan Football the happiest.
Let's do it folks, time to go retro!

Interesting stat, this Saturday Burg Coach Rob Woodward could go to 4-0 at The Trojan Coliseum or Ironton Coach Mark Vass could advance to 3-0. This while Jason Sparks has a dismal record of 3-8 on the Trojans home turf, and of course the sad fact that both Ironton and Burg will play a playoff game on the Trojans home field before the Trojans do. So nice of Portsmouth to spend 10 million dollars to build a place to host other southern Ohio football teams playoff games. Maybe we can get a Valley Oak Hill or Coal Grove game one year, or West could face off against Burg, Ironton, or maybe Northwest after all the Mohawks have a better winning percentage at the Coliseum then Sparks coming in at 2-3. Come on Southern Ohio, this is Portsmouth's best chance at filling the Coliseum as long as Sparks is coach.

Clifford, Schaffer and Newsome on the comeback trail!

Portsmouth has a great facility and some good talent within the school. I struggle to understand why they are not better at the end of the day. It does not appear that they use the weight room during the off season properly.

Who will lead our Trojans next year? When will we know?
