The fact that the Bulldog fans don't have anything to say after their win speaks volumes!!!!

Nelsonville played very well till the flood gate opened. Went from 21-14 to 42-14 really fast

How many turnovers in this game ? I really didn't see that low score coming.
Buckeye defense must have stepped up against that offense. Atleast for awhile.

I just don't have time to post until Saturday's, so calm down Sparky ... lol

The Buckeyes had a great game plan, they executed it - and more importantly they kept their composure the entire time. Sometimes if a team gets too high (or too low even) versus Athens, it can really come back to bite you. Nelsonville-York never backed down, never seemed to bat an eye at what was transpiring on the field and they played with confidence. They did everything they needed to do, but in order to actually beat Athens, the Bucks would have had to play a perfect game (which is extremely hard to do, especially with the weather conditions). The turnovers were killers - and ultimately - the difference.

I know a lot of people don't like Athens in the TVC-Ohio, but I can tell you right now that game last night was perfect for NY heading into week 11!!!! They played a lot faster (and better might I add) versus Athens than they did vs Alex and Logan. Just keep it going against Valley and you never know, you may find yourself playing in week 12.

I will start off with saying I hate Athens more than anybody, but last nights loss was the happiest I have been after any game this year. I have been dreading this game since about week 3 in 2012 I knew how good they were going to be. After seeing our low scoring games all year and there high scoring offense I thought this was going to be nelsonvilles worst loss ever. Athens players and fans were nervous until the 4th quarter last night. Ny stayed in the game the whole time. But a few mistakes and turnovers ultimately cost us what could have been our biggest upset ever. After last nights game I am confident NY can be 10-0 next year. And possibly win our first playoff game since the 90s. Hats off to the bulldogs for having the 3rd best all time team in Athens county and you better enjoy your tvc champion tshirts this year because the title is coming back to us next year.

I can honestly say I was never nervous - not sure about other fans or players, I can't speak for them. I was glad to see the Bucks compete hard and I hope they do the same next week!

What a said state of affairs.. The ONCE mighty Buckeye Nation resorting to the "WAIT TIL' NEXT YEAR" line....Very disappointed... A team with a 7-2 record playing for a league championship and on top of that a playoff team, it's senior night and you can't even fill your stands half way...... My how the mighty have fallen... The team played hard and put a great effort forward. Heck it's a one touchdown game at the half The team has plenty to be proud of.... Why not try talking the Buckeyes up rather than running the Bulldogs down...

One Final note Good Luck to the Buckeyes in their playoff game.... Looks like Valley

Oh and "Orange and Brown" if the game doesn't come out in the Buckeyes favor please don't get on here and post about how "Next Year We'll Get Em"

Don't worry too much o and b sometimes members of the media have to be nice on here or they get called out. You can figure out who they are by their old posts. I mean from over a year ago or more. But easy. Anyway so they can show their true colors they post under another name.

This is one media member who has - and always will have - one user name! And not only that, I don't hide behind my user name, everyone knows who I am ... it's easy to spout off at the mouth with nobody has a clue who you are. I, like a lot of people in the world, sometimes say or post things I regret - but at least I have the nerve to either apologize, or stand by them, depending on what was said.

BTW, any jackass who takes the time to post under two names needs to get a life - or a job.

Nelsonville showed how and why Athens has gotten beat the last two years in the Regional finals. Ball control pounding running game. They didn't win but was successful at it which team up north are able to do. Great job Bucks and you will be a force in the TVC the next two years. Boston is coach of the year.
