second half belonged to the pirates. good night for all aspects of the game. 54 solid player for the indians. big fumble after the catch to turn momentum to the burg. now its time for the old west side/pirate game. gotta love hs sports.

Congrats to Burg on the win tonight. Good luck to Valley the rest of the season and in the playoffs. Thoughts and prayers to Coach Crabtree on your recovery.

Congrats Burg. Just keep that gold football dusted and bring it with you next year. You'll be handing it back over. Like some of us has said. This is the year to get Valley if you can. We only lose 2 starters. Good luck rest of the year Pirates and represent the SOC well in the playoffs

Not so fast nutron! Valley will be tough but burg has some nice players coming back as well. And a good freshman team to add to it. West will be a load again as well

1st Rolfe is a d2 maybe d1aa QB. He's the most relaxed QB I've seen since spradlin at burg. He's very good.

2 differences that impacted the game.

1. Valley could not establish a running game
2. Burg couldn't be stopped in their power running game

Good luck to valley in playoffs

Oh it'll be another great SOC year....good thing for Valley, losing just a couple seniors and get both W's at home.

Was not very good at all- both ways. They said this crew was from Columbus, there has to better officials , the boys deserve it. Go Burg!!! ;-)

Need to correct my comment- friend of mine on the hill said they thought it was good officiating- I guess when your opposite sides you see it different. I seen a picture of the goal line call when the call was a touchback. We did fumble the ball before the stripe- so it was a good call.

So I'm going to dog my pirates a little bit. I seen it several times tonight.. Burg player shoving opponents after the play. I'm all for playing through the whistle but when its time to go back to the huddle, do exactly that. Keep your hands to yourself and your mouth shut. It wasn't just burg players doing it but either way there is no place for that on the football field.

The spots were so bad they were comical. Did anyone in the stadium see that last pass interference call?

Heard Rolfe was invited for a visit and football game at Purdue couple of weeks ago.

I was going to say d1 but I'm wondering about his speed? And a bit undersized. But he's definite eku morehead type

I want to know about blowing the whistle to stop our play, then they called us for illegal procedure - when they caused it?
