He's still growing. Drew Breeze wasn't very big either when he went to Purdue

The difference in the game was the line of scrimmage! Wheelersburg dominated on both sides of the ball! However the pirates seem to have an offensive identity crisis! They are not sure if they want to spread the field or run the power game! I guess it's a good problem to have but the coaches need to fiqure out what the game plan is early in the week and stick to it. They can do both which is good but seems like at times they get caught up in the trickery stuff and we don't have to do that this year. Regardless there is enough talent on this team to do what the other team gives us! Let's finish the season and reclaim the gold football and get ready for the playoffs! It should also be noted our defense is stingy quick! Great win tonight!

This is the year to get Valley if you can. We only lose 2 starters. Good luck rest of the year Pirates and represent the SOC well in the playoffs

I cant wait until next year.... The pirates will be arounf for a while now....

This one didn't surprise me in the least bit, I figured going in after what west was able to do to valley that burg would do much of the same. Gold football on the line next week.

1st Rolfe is a d2 maybe d1aa QB. He's the most relaxed QB I've seen since spradlin at burg. He's very good.

2 differences that impacted the game.

1. Valley could not establish a running game
2. Burg couldn't be stopped in their power running game

Good luck to valley in playoffs

Wow i did not see Rolfe being a D1 or D2 tonight....

Great job tonight to the Pirates !!!! Well played on the LOS.... Your run defense has improved much since week 5........One of the many things i like about our Team and tradition, we expect to win every game and when we do, we act like we been there before... Shake the opponents hand, sing our fight song and get ready for the next game....

That Drew Breeze sure is a windy son of a gun.

On the other hand, Drew Brees is a pretty good QB.

I was a little surprised that valley didn't throw the ball more- with us giving so much cushion they could gave taken advantage of it.

They did a little more when the were down a few scores. But Burg put the pressure on when it was needed.

Burg controlled the LOS all night. They have an excellent line and a nice defense. Valley is really hurting right now at some key positions. Hopefully they can get well for they playoffs.

I'd like to know how the burgs d is overrated. We are only giving up 11 ppg on defense. Valley just faced their best team they have all yr and could not get the job done offensively. Good luck next wk and in the playoffs.

Relax, just a little dig toward a certain Ironton poster who after week 1 kept commenting week after week how overrated the burgs D was.
