Yes and Wellston's JV was in as well which is mostly freshman. Athens could do that to 9 teams on their schedule.

Burrow was taken out if the game with 10 minutes left before half as he was hit in the knee. Basically precautionary. He's fine.

Let me tell you something jackson96, they continued to throw the ball the whole game. They were throwing the ladt series. Their varsity skill was in a series against wellston's jv, so dont tell me i was wrong. Does this surprise you out of athens? They would do the same to jackson.

I'm just going by what the two radio guys told me big guy. Regardless, doesn't change the fact wellston gave up 82 points in a football game with a rolling clock in the second half.

Well "big guy", your radio boys are wrong. I was at the game. But why does it matter? Why the the sarcastic input? 82 points? They could put that or more on any tvc team, it just depends on who's stats they want to pad that night. The un classy part by their coach is continuing to throw when up 50 points and calling timeouts to dial up a mis match when up 61. Un classy. He will get his in time. On Burrows,.. He was hit a few times in the backfield late in second quarter and look like his knee got hut and twisted. I hope tge young man is fine and good to go. Good luck to them boys in the playoffs

I said that if they left their players in and was throwing the ball up by 50 that , that is wrong!!! I was t saying they didn't do it . I wasn't there . I was watching the Ironmen roll to 8-0!! Love all the personal jabs though. As far VC they lost but they did beat wellston last year and should do it again, but I would t jab vc with basketball season right around the corner . Plus I doubt Athens hangs 80 on jackson .

Athens needs to worry about Athens not wellston.
Athens throws the ball - shocking never dreamed they did that.

Why should Athens or any team whose athletes have developed their skills and talent through all that hard work have to play half a game or backoff because your boys have not done the same. I never understood that one.

I guess Athens should have went ahead and beat everyone in the TVC by 96 points then all of you would have been treated the same. Maybe the wellston boys should have stayed away for joey's knees?!!
