Locos, please you are the voice of reason in the land of Logan. Not you too...seriously with the 1996 talk...this is a clear and convincing conspiracy theory for trying to reverse the role here...and you are now officially part of the attempt to undermine us and jinx us into a loss.

1996...please.

The undisputed facts are this: this grouping of classes between Jackson and Logan from jr. high to freshman to last year are pretty much dead even. This is about as even of a game to try and predict as they come. Not buying any of the hoopla...especially the 1996 hoopla that you have now thrown into the discussion.

1996...please.

Just in case I didn't make myself clear.

1996...puuuulllllease.

Going to take a 10-0 year and some noise in the play-offs to be even considered for that honor.

I'm not even sure of 02, 04, 2012

LOL.

Lots of "Lou Holtz"ing going on on this thread today.

Reality - Jackson is 6-0 and crushed three 2013 playoff qualifiers. Logan hasn't beaten a team that qualified for the playoffs since 2009.

I doubt Logan "cruises."

Lou Holtz for sure ...LOL

2002 Jackson was 4-6.

2004 Jackson finished 3rd in the SEOAL (although they did beat Logan). They did win a playoff game against Withrow.

2012 Jackson was 5-5.

I assume you meant 2011 instead of 2012. That team was REALLY good, but they only played two teams with a winning record in the regular season (Ironton and Gallipolis, both were 6-4).

If Jackson wins tonight they are on their way to 10-0. That alone puts them in pretty elite company. When you factor in the strength of schedule, AND the domination of said schedule, I don't think I'll be too far out of line.

If Logan wins tonight then I'm obviously over-rating the Ironmen, and I'll happily admit it.

IF we look at Logan's JUNIOR class only, you're right.

However, this Logan senior class won only a handful of games 7th-Freshman.

This year's sophomores didn't even have a freshman team last year.

Doubleplay -

BTW - I definitely think Logan can win. I just think they have to execute on offense and find some stops on defense. I haven't seen enough from this group to have the confidence they will.

Double and all other interested parties, facts are facts we have a defense that gives up on avg plus 35 points a game and we cannot kick an extra point let alone a field goal! That's our weakness but of course the Chief's might be sick also! Good luck to both teams!

And Jackson is loaded at RB and LB.

ON that note, it was great to see Gabe Griffiths got back into the backfield last week. Know he has been battling injuries. HS football is short. Hate to see guys miss games due to injury.
They are both playing. :122245

Really good game. Rain is making for some crazy moves. Tied at seven all. Lots of penalties being called.
