Backwood run @ Sheridan

Post by noreply66 »

Is this run over a CC run or like a Track meet 3200?

Reason I 'm asking is ----------some good 3200 times were turned in.

This was run as a XC meet, but the distance was the 3200 as it is in track!

Is it a flat course ? The times looked good for a hilly course.

I checked the times out this morning, and was wondering the same thing! I was going to go out to it but couldn't make it. I can't imagine that being a hilly course with those times though!

It isn't the fastest course ever. The only real downhills are at the very beginning and the very end. About 1k of it is on gravel and has a lot turns. There's a hill about 600m long but it isn't too steep during the first mile. And I do believe that it is a full 2 mile course, not 3200 like the timer says. I could be wrong on that though.
