I don't expect Caldwell to compete against the better teams in the PVC (MC, FF and Frontier) so don't talk about how injuries are hurting your team, every team has their share of them. Here's a few players to watch out for this year. Jorris and Brown from MC. Lagrean FF, Caminio Frontier and Flood Shen.

Haha as a redskins fan lets hope you are just as knowledgable about hoops as you were about football. Pretty sure anyone with any real understanding of the game can tell you that the only team in the league that is a threat to fort when healthy is caldwell. Not central an not frontier.

Has Caldwell beat MC in the Tolzda-era? Caldwell without a doubt was better last year than they will be this year. I just don't see the talent there this year. IMO, Caldwell is the 4th best team in the league this year. I don't see them giving FF and MC much of a game, and will split with Frontier if they're lucky.

Fort Frye has beat Monroe Central by 9 or more in every game in the TolzdaEra

See, I think I know my MC sports. And as for Caldwell, I just can't see them being better this year and we kicked their butts last year and I still can't see how they beat us in football. We have way more talent than they do.

Can't see how Caldwell beat you in football? Here's an idea, check the stat. Or perhaps look back on the final score. That's a pretty good indicator on whether you lost or not.

Now, as for this basketball season, it will be quite interesting. Weichman, while a good player, he at times did what he wanted. Sometimes it worked, and sometimes it didn't. He could get his own shot, but could also cause the offense to become stagnant. This year should be much more team oriented and balanced. Get everyone healthy and get things clicking. If you have to take a few losses early in order not rush injured players back, so be it.

Yea Caldwell dominated MC in football. Lori more yards then the whole MC team. Every person not from Woodsfield in this area knows the Redskins were the better team.

I really don't think you should judge Woodsfield/Monroe Central fans by the thoughts and posts of a few.

Banged up and suspended felt Caldwell team gets upset by Bellaire St Johns 59-50.. Monroe smoked West Muskingum. Buckeye Trail lost to Barnesville by 13. Fort Frye beat Belpre but went 11-24 from free throw line in 4th qt.

Caldwell played well, lost 69-60 in ot. St. John's has 7 transfer players from across the river who came in with the new coach. Three of them are 6'6 an one of those chase truex plays guard an scored 38 points on step back threes, fadeaways an four sweet dunks. They doubled him the whole game an couldn't stop him. Guess he was bishop donahues best player last year. Clark, Harding, cannon, Riski did not play

FF will be decent.
Frontier has some good talent.
Zeps will be big again.
Caldwell lost a lot of talent. Don't see them winning a lot of games.
BT will be just as bad as the skins

MC looked real good last night.
FF barely hung on against a young Belpre squad
Frontier did not play
Caldwell might be worst than I thought they would be without Wiechman. (I told you so....)
Zeps only scored 25 pts
BT might be a little better than I thought (only losing by 13)

Fort Frye missed over 20 free throws and still beat a 14 or 15 win team by 10. It's the first night relax it don't mean much West Muskingum will be lucky to win 3 games.

Lol, of course pvcman is blasting Caldwell again. One game into the season, whatever makes you feel better man. Given the circumstances, I'm not to worried about the loss. Doesnt sound like this is the same type of St. John's teams from the past. I'll reserve judgement for when everyone is actually healthy and/or off suspensions.

Belpre won't win 14 games, but West M. Is going to win their share of games. They might even finish @.500 this year.MC plays team ball, but if needed they have a couple players who could average over 20 pts this year.
