Re: RIVER VALLEY vs. MEIGS
Both teams will score more than your first score I think. Dayton could rack up yards in this one. Meigs does a ton offensively for any team to truly pinpoint what they might do. I also think they have too many mismatch advantages on offense for RV to stop, such as Ty Phelps at tight end and Isaiah English in the slot. My prediction.Bevo wrote:OK for Mr. Dairy Queen

The weird score is because Meigs goes for 2 half of the time .

If Dayton plays? Bruised Rotator Cuff and something else?BlizzardMan wrote:Both teams will score more than your first score I think. Dayton could rack up yards in this one. I think RV game plan is to run the ball control the clock and make Meigs be patient on defense, imho only chance they have. Why get into a game like Fairland did against Meigs? That is what they want. Fairland's defense is a lot worse that RV's They have given up big points to everyone. If RV can keep Meigs in the 20's they can win.

Re: RIVER VALLEY vs. MEIGS
They won't run the ball on Meigs. They are big and strong up front. They can throw the ball without getting into a game like Fairland had . They can actually use the play clock unlike Fairland did. They do need a decent balance though, but Meigs is a much much better run defensive team than passing. Although, if RV does run it, they can stick to running lots of sweeps. The DE's crash down a lot for Meigs.Bevo wrote:If Dayton plays? Bruised Rotator Cuff and something else?BlizzardMan wrote:Both teams will score more than your first score I think. Re: RIVER VALLEY vs. MEIGS
I am hoping I am wrong.....but I'm thinking that RV Junior QB Dayton Hardway (for second year in a row against Meigs) will not play in this one, after injuring his shoulder and missing almost all of the 2nd half against Nelsonville-York.
This means FRESHMAN QB Patrick Brown would get the start. Look for a run heavy offense from the Raiders if that is the case. Wishing the Raiders all the luck in the world!!
GO RAIDERS!!!!

Re: RIVER VALLEY vs. MEIGS
With hardaway I thought meigs would win this game 42-7. Without him this one will be ugly quick. Coach Bartrum is a class act so he won't score 70.
Re: RIVER VALLEY vs. MEIGS
Well.... I think Meigs prob wins handily, but I see where Meigs has given up 46- 55- 13 - 69 points which right now has them ranked next to last in the State in scoring defense. To say that anyone won't do anything against them on a Fri night, well kind of makes me wonder what kind of thinking goes into what you posted? I think they stack the box with Patrick playing QB. I guess I have to see them actually stop someone before I believe this. VC had almost 300 yards of offense against them.
