First off river valley needs a sign or two about where the field is. Second slowest concession stand I've ever seen. Third some of the most biased announcers of all time. Fourth person running the scoreboard/clock was 2 plays behind the whole game. Do they even have a play clock. Welcome to the tvc and get ready to compete with Vinton county every year for last place. And to the turd who said the score didn't reflect the game that it was close the whole time. Bs don't try to take away our 3td win. You might've thought it was close but it wasn't.

I do have a question though....biased announcers?? Which "announcers" are you talking about?

NY- 48
RV- 6

3-0 against three teams who might have 3 wins combined at the end of the season is not impressive, but I suppose a turnaround has to start somewhere. However, the beginning of a string of losses for RV starts Friday.

Your something else! Turn coat who wants to see his Alma Ma mater struggle!
you talk about RV's Schedule? Nelsonville has played A good Trimble team, (got smoked) an decent Newark Catholic team (Could not do anything on offense!) and Berne Union??? BU scored 12 points on them they got beat in their other 2 games 60-0 and 56-0 Come on, that's not exactly a great showing by the TVC power house program now is it? Everyone hanging their hat on the Newark Catholic win!
I think the Raiders will give Nelsonville all that they want! Have you watched RV? They actually play defense, they have a new line coach who teaches fundamentals.
Yes! Nelsonville will bring a decent team to this game but 48-6?
RV 21
Nelsonville 20
Coming from a guy who is never right I expect no less!
We will see who's right. I don't want to see them struggle, it's simply my opinion. Just because I went somewhere in high school (which I don't live in anymore, unlike you), doesn't mean I should predict they will win every game even though they don't have a shot. Those three wins will do nothing for them moving forward. Yes I have seen them play. They have a decent defense, but they won't stop NY's running game. If you get so butt hurt over what I say, skip through my posts. You are the dumbest member on this site by far. When the smoke clears Fridsy night, we will see whose prediction is closer. I'll make a wager. If yiu are closer to being right, I will not post on any other RV thread ever. If I'm closer, you admit you are wrong in this very thread.
Dumbest on this site?
Nelsonville running game dominated?
Glad that I didn't wager?
I would hate to not have you posting on RV threads, we all need some laughs. From the guy who is never close to being right!

Raiders had 72 total yards of offense on 56 plays. 36 yards rushing on 38 attempts. Ny had 350 yards of offense. rv had 10 in the box and got Burnt for 257 yards passing. Ny had 125 yards in penalties. 115 of that came after that were up 14-0. Rv had 15 yards in penalties. Rv had 50 more positive yards in penalties from the officials than their offense generated.

Scoreboard moron. You predicted RV would win by a point. You were off by 22. I predicted a 42 point win. I was off by 21. But I get the edge because I picked the right team to win. Nice try knucklehead.

It is a terrible drive.. No parking. RV played dirty. Bad site lines. Concessions ran out of food at halftime.. And I would love to slap that PA announcer! He not on TV or the radio . Hope RV is out if the TVC soon!

Notice how these aren't things that conference commissioners actually care about when it comes to who stays/who leaves. And if that were the case, there'd be a couple schools in my area that would be homeless (conference-wise).

After seeing those stats I would call that a very dominating win by the Buckeyes. I wasn't at the game but I can tell you the difference in the game was the weightroom. NY has always had a very good lifting program and coach sparlings lifting program is very poor. I have bad news for nelsonville york fans. If you thought the football facility was bad wait until you play basketball. River valleys gymnasium might be the worst gym in all of Ohio.

I have not seen this team play yet? I know RV has a few good classes coming up. I love how they have a little success and the haters and bashers come out. Guys get a life.
The gym is not the fault of the kids or the program!
"Prep Expert" You continually run the kids and program down, why don't you take up fishing or something?
I know at the end of the 3rd period RV was one bad snap from tying this game at 14, dominating? sometimes stats lie. NY had 2 big pass plays that was the difference in this game.
I'm wishing these kids the best luck in the future.

Thanks for the compliment, Orange and Brown.......I agree.....RV will fit in very well in the TVC.......

As for some of the other comments on here....well, it was a great win for the Buckeyes......and I think they were surprised to be playing a competitive RV team, for a change.......and let's face it.....RV was running it down your throat on the opening drive of the second half......then a bad snap ended that drive and essentially the game.......

As for the announcer........I agree!!!

Your scoring drive in the first half had 55 yards worth of penalties against ny. In the third NY had RV 3rd and long twice with penalties gaining first downs before the bad snap. So driving it down their throats. remember you had 36 yards rushing in the game on 38 tries.. and 72 yards total offense. You didnt even drive the length of the field in total offense. and if you put 11 in the box be ready to give up some long passes.

Obviously the gym isn't the kids fault. The administration and school board should of been removed for the facilities they built for the kids with tax payers money

I've been to the gym there. It seemed fine to me. Small visitor bleachers but the gym itself looked like a typical TVC Ohio gym. Maybe I missed something.

I've been in every tvc gym and none of them look as ridiculous as that gym except south gallia. Those 2 gyms I believe we're designed the same way

Let me say this, I heard that RV gym has never turned people away because all the seats were full and they do draw pretty good crowds for a school of their size. The School Board has actually done a good job of managing money and were under budget and that allowed them to construct a new football facility at the school. Unlike my alma mater who over spent went over budget, hired a bargain basement contractor who did shoddy work, built a huge gym that they cant pay the heating or cooling bills on. Have had water leaks 2 times and had to install a new floor in the main gym, after the school was built they had no way to change the light bulbs in the very high ceilings in the main gym and had to buy an expensive man lift to do the task. Having a huge gym and fancy facilities is like some guys bragging about how big their man hood is. It's nice to be confident but in the end it really means nothing. "Prep Expert" your like a fart, start with a bad smell and try to make everyone uncomfortable but nothing you say lasts long. What's your BEEF with RV please tell us?? MORON!

In the 3rd quarter....RV marched right down the field to the 13 yard line......on a 2nd and short.....RV center had a bad snap that went to the 41.....setting up a 3rd and 38......and leading to a punt.....the score was 14-7 at that point......from that snap, till the end of the game, RV seemed defeated.......it didnt help when the starting QB went down with a shoulder injury......but my point is this, expressing defeat in you attitude and the coaches and players and most of all the FANS are all guilty; but by allowing the opposing team to smell the fear and losing attitude, you give them the added fuel to close the game out........similar problem for RV dating back to the schools inception.........

I think RV will learn from this and be much better moving forward......we CAN compete with the best of the TVC(except Athens) this year........look out Meigs .......RV will be ready to get back on track next week.......more so than if they would have won this week......

Great win by the Buckeyes.....please dont take anything away from this post that makes you think any different....your boys came to play and your QB was throwing the ball......LIGHTS OUT......actually without him......I dont think you could have beat us by just running.......jmo.........RV will be a tough out for all its opponents this year......

Wishing for a great week of practice for the Raiders and their coaching staff this week.......and hoping for a speedy recovery for Dayton.....if not.....Patrick will be ready by friday and Im sure he will get lots of reps this week in practice.......and a note to the defensive coach for RV.....Meigs has a few players that are very fast as well and if they get behind you.....you will not catch them........d-backs have to play great next week for RV to have a chance to get back on the winning track and beat Meigs on the road......

Good luck to the NY buckeyes players coaches and fans moving forward.......and Ill be there in middleport/pomeroy next week cheering from the fence........GO RAIDERS!!!!!!!
Meigs will need to play better than they have been in the secondary or they could be in trouble against RV.
Ahhhhh, he's an expert. Now with my vast knowledge do you actually think I thought RV would beat Nelsonville? No i hoped that they would and as I have said before I don't care to make a bold call to keep from being negative. Your pick was normal for you, that you missed by 3 td's. From now on I will post wishful thinking and reality.
lol. you win hahaha!
Bartrum is well..... different. How can a guy who has played on good teams in the NFL be all offense? I cannot believe that the defense is this bad.

Bevo wrote " Unlike my alma mater who over spent went over budget, hired a bargain basement contractor who did shoddy work.." First of all I have nothing against RV and wish them the best... I agree with certain points that Bevo made but some of his knowledge is a little off, The contractor that he mentions that did the work at GAHS also did the work at RV and also constructed the new Football facility.. Never been in RV's gym but I know for a fact that the Air conditioning ductwork was installed and later removed, this is why they came in under budget.... So basically you built the football field by removing the AC from the gym...
