This has been the Logan schtick for the past 2 Decades...where have you been?
Apparently you quit following Logan football around 2002 or so. The only non-league team below D3 that Logan SCHEDULED from 2003-2009 was Columbus DeSales. Logan moved to D2 starting in 2007.
Logan's non-league schedule starting in 2003:

Chillicothe (D2)
Pickerington North (D3, first year of existence)
DeSales (D2 or D3)

Pick North (D1)
Zanesville (D2)

Pick North (D1)
Zanesville (D2)

OPEN WEEK 6
The OCC (week 4), Mid-State (week 4), Muskingum Valley (only 1 non-league game per team), SCOL (week 4) and ECOL (week5) all start their league play in the first half of the season. Logan has gone out and scheduled the best teams from the TVC and Columbus Central Catholic league to fill in dates. Trust me, the Logan A.D. would love to have an easier travel game than Loudonville, but had to get a week 4 game (and needed a home game for 2013).
Logan only has 4 home games in 2014, but financially it works out because two of them were Lancaster and Nelsonville-York.
