To the SOC Burg is destined to win this year. No one will get within 2 touchdowns in the league.
West and Valley is a toss up. West having several 3 year starters and loads of experience. Valley having some great talent but young.
Waverly should be able to break the top 3 but I wont hold my breath.
1. Burg
2. West
3. Valley
4. Waverly
5. Minford
I didn't read it on here. I talked to some disgruntled Siders about the entire football season last year. They had talent and it was not utilized. I can agree with almot everything else you say. But really it's not easy teaching a new scheme in the SOCII. The teams are tough and are well practiced in exploiting weaknesses. Time is on the side of West. Minford is another that time will help. They are young and getting loads of experience.

I heard them too.I hear them this year. Don't think someone isn't left out this year too.In fact someone is always disgruntled even when we won them all a few years back. Again don't believe everything you read OR hear, especially from all our bleacher experts. We seem to have more of them than anywhere I ever seen.

The next 3 weeks are going to be great. I think Burg will FIND A WAY to bring the crown back home. No 3 way. I hope it comes down to week 10 @ the pebble with the PERINNIAL POWERHOUSE Senators.

Wheelersburg is going to find out that winning in week 10 isn't going to be easy. One would think after Friday, that West would get a little respect.

I see Wheelersburg beating Valley because:
1. It is at Wheelersburg.
2. Wheelersburg is better at the line of scrimmage.
3. Valley cannot defend the pass. That has been their downfall in the playoffs and will be again this year. May could have a huge night throwing the ball.

If that happens and the weather is decent, we could see a huge crowd and a great game week 10 at West.

Valley was going to get beat this year. They had a good run but compared to the last few years, they aren't THAT team. You all can thump your chest for the next 2 weeks but when week 10 comes you all should hold on to your seats. Burg may have come out of the slump they were in. And if they beat Valley, well West will get into a dog fight with a very stout W'burg. And that line is an outstandind display of size and athleticism. Respect? Thump your chest and demand it? That don't work. It will be a showdown week 10 and late in the game Burg will go up 2 scores and force West to answer and in doing so will force a turnover and make it 3 scores. But the game will be closer than what the scoreboard says at the end. Take it to the bank brotha. This is Burg's year.

So Jolly would you be willing to ask your parents for an advance on your allowance and place a friendly wager on this 3 score Burg win if both teams go into week 10 somewhat healthy?

I think I may have some saved up. Make sure your kids will let you skip your rent payment first. You can't live in thier basement for free you know.

I have some too. If I don't buy beer and cigarettes I may be able to scrape together $30. Only if I get the 3 touchdowns though. ;-)

That won't happen. Too much to prove. IMO

I agree 100% I cant remember the last time Burg lost 3 straight years to a team, let alone 4. Looking forward to the game though. I wish Burg would let VSN in the pressbox.

I can't remember 2 classes going through Burg without winning an SOC either.
