Symmes Valley.

First time the Spartans will be hit in the mouth. Federal Hocking when tackling mainly grabbed and hung on in the first game. Federal Hocking did not look real strong either. Symmes will be physical and strong. Symmes can be pretty tough running the ball. They have hard running backs and usually good line play. Federal Hocking had neither. This will be a test for the Spartans.

The Spartans are playing with more passion and focus than I have seen in a while. They have to play better with the ball going forward. I look for a 10 point win for the Spartans.

With the help of Patrick Bookman this Alexander team should shine this year...Spartans win in a close one..

This was an excellent game. The Vikings imposed their will on Alexander in the first quarter and was up 12-0 in the first quarter. After that, Alexander's defense really "Rose up" and played tough run defense. Alexander outscored Symmes Valley 21-0 the last three quarters. SV stayed with the run the whole game and actually held the ball the entire third quarter.

This was a hard fought game with both teams showing a great deal of heart.

The biggest win in this game in my eyes was the Spartans only having 1 turnover. Big
Improvement from last week. Being down 12-0 early with 6 points to symmes valley coming off a fumble made the Spartans
Wake up. Good win Spartans .... Now gear up for the tanks !!
