Week 2: Coal Grove (1-0) @ Valley (1-0)
This should be a very interesting game. This will tell a lot about both teams. Valley better come ready to play defense against a physical team? Thoughts?

Or it could be said that Coal Grove better be ready for Valley's triple threat offense.....

CG comes to play but valley will pull it out in the end in a high scoring game!!
Re: Week 2: Coal Grove (1-0) @ Valley (1-0)
Goal grove line will be too much for Indians and they will wrap up. Grove by two scores.
Re: Week 2: Coal Grove (1-0) @ Valley (1-0)
IMO Valley will tighten up the Defense this week and come out hitting.
Valley by 3 TD's
Valley by 3 TD's

Grove line and the 'ground and pound' will take A LOT of time off the clock.... This will test Valley as the offense may not be on the field much. valley will be better conditioned and if they are close late will pull out a close one. 26-24 Valley. ROLL TRIBE!!

This game will help put last weeks game into perspective.

Re: Week 2: Coal Grove (1-0) @ Valley (1-0)
Valley has traditionally played well against CG's style of football. Coach Crabtree and his staff always have the team prepared to handle what the Hornets do best. This will be a test for Valley's inexperienced line as CG will play a physical brand of football. I do think that Valley's speed will once again create big plays for the Indians, and the game could hinge on getting a turnover or making one big stop. If Valley gets an early it could be extremely difficult for CG to play catch up, and vice versa if the Grovers can control the clock with a lead. I think the Indians make big plays and take this one, 40-27.

This will be a great Game but Valley comes out on top 42-35
Re: Week 2: Coal Grove (1-0) @ Valley (1-0)
Valley matches up better with cg than they did with Portsmouth. I hope to see valley take more shots down the field this week. I don't see this game being that close I just think valley will have to much speed.
Re: Week 2: Coal Grove (1-0) @ Valley (1-0)
I know one thing Coal Grove is talking about is this...
Valley was 40-0 in the regular season some years back, and the new season opened up....Valley had lost a few key players but still appeared to be the "favorite" in the game. The Indians rolled up to Coal Grove in search of thier 41st straight regular season victory, and Coal Grove stopped the streak 24-12. I know it's not a big deal, but here Valley is going after consecutive regular season win 32...and here sits Coal Grove.
We all know streaks are made to be broken, but lets not let it be the Hornets who do it again!
Roll Tribe!

Interesting matchup for the Indians.
CG will tackle and play more physical than Portsmouth did as well as throw the ball which was Valley's defense issue against Portsmouth.
On the flip side, CG doesnt have an athlete like Oliver on the field and their receivers are probably not going to have the wheels that Portsmouth's did.
Best of luck to the Indians. If their line wins the battle in the trenches they should be able to pull out another win and extend the streak.
