Besides the minus 5 or 6 in the TO column for the Falcon offense, what was their total yardage breakdown??

They better not play this way next week, or they will be in trouble up in Columbus!!! I can see a very, very tough practice for the Falcon players this-coming week, in preparation for Col. Grandview Heights.

So, are you saying the Valley/Trojan game was a cupcake for both teams... :122245 Are you saying only the Siders and Pirates played a quality open game? :12224  Just messing with you... :122249 I am baffled why a Falcon DIV team would keep a SP or NW game on their schedule when they could elevate to Ironton and Jackson or several others in the vicinity...Anyway, I wish ya'll the best until game 10....Oh, I don't care who the SOC II plays...I wish all of Scioto County teams the best...

From what I could hear from the radio guys in the pressbox, the Falcons had around 250 yards on the ground and like 150 through the air. South Point, though with there big pass play for around 75 yards, was held around the 50 yard mark. That Minford defense held South Point too minus rushing on the evening.
The fumbles, all though needs to be improved on, Minford overall played a great game.

Minford committed 6 turnovers and still won 37-14? Is Minford that good or is South Point that bad?

We need to do better the blocking for the running backs! Our defense kept us in this game all night long. I think we had had five turnovers forced! Go Pointers!
Funny. SPs line was whipped all night. Sure they would have played better with their starting QB but they still wouldn't have been in the game without the ability to run the ball and protect whoever they had at qb

I think we would have won or at least been a very close game with our senior year QB our receiver's were open a lot and our sophomore over threw them all night long. I was impressed with our defense causing tons of fumbles and getting an interception. Yes we lost but if Minford doesn't learn to take care of the ball when getting hit then their hopes of the playoffs are slim.South Point is young and only 3 seniors get playing time. We start 2 freshmen and 5 sophomores so I was proud of them tonight. We have to find some blocker or it will be a long year. We get one lineman back in about 4 more weeks so that should help for OVC play. We came away with no injuries last night so that is a plus!

I'm saying that had Minford played a team worth their salt, a -6 in the turnover column would have turned into a disaster of a game. Portsmouth had near the same TOs and lost, so what does that say about Valley? Just messing with you, good luck until week 10.
