Do you still believe Gallia can run the ball and keep the score down? Burg manhandled them up front, they lack speed, and are simply not ready to play a solid team like Burg. Will only get worse next week.

I'm a Graduate of Gallia Academy, but i think we will get killed in this game and last time i looked this is a message board, I think that that means your allowed to message your opinion. Athens has a great talented team this year Blue don't! Please son try and be honest with yourself.
I don't know if the coaches from Athens will have pity or not if they do this will be 48-0 if they don't it will be 71-0 Athens is that good! General try learning something about the game ok.

I doubt that they will. It is the first game of the year and it ia GA. People will take notice just because of the name Gallia Academy.

great first drive just need to capitalize. i think team could be okay if it had depth. hard to ask the interior to play both sides of the ball.

carter looked good running the ball

defense was without one of its top corners.

athens game is a wash, look to week 2 and get an opinion on team

I would love to see gallia win! Most likely won't happen but gallia has a good group of hard working kids! Go gallia!

It could be a long year for this bunch as far as wins and losses go. I dont know. I do know a couple things. The experiences and memories these kids have with each other will last a lifetime. And with their coaches. I know that Josh Riffe is an honorable and genuine person. So are the members of the Staff. Unlike.... Well..This BOE needs to keep their mouth shut and stay the hell out of it and dont accept any phone calls from the idiots, who without question, will be calling   Follow the chain of command, which has wrecked this program in the past. Gallipolis is NOT a FOOTBALL COMMUNITY. It is political, Very much perception oriented, and Personal. There are some great football people in this town. Unbiased and knowledgeable. But not very many. Coach Riffe could change this and the culture of football and athletics in general in this school system if given the chance. I really believe that Coach Simms gets this too. Good Start? BOE DO NOT HIRE COACHES. Period.

A coach is as good as his players, as i have said in the past. GA right now and for a few years is down on talent prob since the early 80s since it was this bad. It hurts but thats life and the parents and fans are more devistated than the players as usual. I just hope we don't have a coaching carrosel for the next few years.

He was almost neg in yds, thats good? 1 corner isn't going to fix what was wrong last night. I thought LB Nd DL play was horrible OL is big but don't move well and looked a little lost. Jerrall looked pretty good but hes prob a TE playing RB. Kids a good athlete. I usually look at how many plays our defense either won or broke even at the point of attack, thst means no gain or under 2yds or neg plays by the opposing O? Did we tackle them on their side of the Los.
