Game ball goes to the defense! They played pretty solid today.Once again no running for the offense which almost came back to haunt them.Hoyer had 2 picks but offset it with 300 yards passing two tds and a pretty decent rating with no rushing game to help, and how tough is Hawkins absorbing that punishing blow then coming right back with a big catch ? After that second pick the cameras were scouring for Johnny football every chance they got and Hoyer put a stop it to it again.A nice must win for the Brownies, now they have to to get that running game going to beat the big boys or else they stand no chance imo

As Pettine says, winning ugly beats losing pretty any day. I can't believe the running game is on ice just because of Mack. But McDonald kept getting blown up in center. I keep looking for other answers at center if I'm the Browns. Gilbert and Skrine gave up chunks to the tall receivers all afternoon. BUT, my biggest gripe again is no Crowell. He is the type of north-south physical runner that the Browns need right now. I just don't understand him being MIA.

Yea I don't know how they kept shredding through the Steelers defense without him in the second half ! Then after that game they look like all new players who have never seen a down of Pro Ball. I have heard the center position is the most important on the line because they call out the blocking schemes. Pettine said he prefers to keep Cowbell out because of his tendency to fumble, but I don't remember him fumbling that much, maybe he sees it in practice or something. If they keep rushing for 40 and 50 yards a game he better do something or Haslam might get an itchy trigger finger by the end of the year.

Brownies come out like their pants are on fire tonight! Like you I don't know if the Bengals that bad or they that good.Line play was a lot better tonight and Hoyer looked pretty sharp again although it was hard for me to see his exact locations with this computer on again off again frame speed I had to deal with.Defense looked like the second coming of the 85 Bears, but I don't know how good because I got serious doubts about the Bengals offense now.Well time to get back to playing losing teams again so that means back to the nailbiters ,what ya think dazed time for another letdown?

Something I thought I'd never get to say......The Browns are alone in first place in the middle of November!

Esp.after the preseason ended! Looked for sure like another trainwreck coming and Pettine standing in the unemployment line by seasons end .Now how long can they stay there in this topsy turvy league called the NFL?

Well, they need to win the games they SHOULD win starting this Sunday at home. Then it's a bad Atlanta team. I can see a way they end up 11-5. That should get them to the dance.

LOL I figured the Brownies would have a let down after that big win last week esp. since it was against a losing team which seems to be the Brownies kryptonite for some reason.! I knew that lack of running game would come back to get em eventually.Miles Austin was trying the catch the ball the wrong way, trying to backhand the ball instead of using his hands to bring the ball into this body,I see so many receivers make this mistake! At least they get Mr.Cooper back next week

I don't know...can't figure them out. They win when they shouldn't, lose when they shouldn't and just frustrate me generally. I guess I should be happy they aren't the dumpster fire they have been in years past but they're not ready for prime time yet. Houston controlled the line of scrimmage both ways. I'd spend a lot of money on linemen this off season. Still dont have enough!

Like a high wire act. You never know what the Browns will give you week in and out. Hate to see Gipson go down but my man, the Crow, had a great day.

People get hurt every week in this league. UNREAL!!... I. Crowell is so nice! And an undrafted free agent to boot! I kind of like TWest too but not as much. They ran the football well today :122245
