6 actually. Each team scored a defensive TD off of a fumble. The Shermans had 4 INTs in the game. Played really well on the defensive side that night.

6 turnovers will get anybody beat. That's crazy.
With 6 extra possessions Unioto still only scored 30 points. But, I'm sure Unioto has made some adjustments since week 1 as has the Tigers.
One more walk through before we get it on.

That's how I felt with waverly piketon. Waverly runs bout 90 plays on offense and only scores 28.

I think this game will be a good measuring stick for finding out how good both of these teams really are. I have a feeling it's going to be a very close game. I know both teams will be fired up for this one. I hope the fans are ready as well and bring some energy to make for a great atmosphere for a Friday Night under the lights at Raidiger Field.

Think the Tanks make a game of it but Waverly wins.

What time is kickoff and does the paying for parking cause any delays getting in? Thanks and Go Shermans

Kickoff is 7 pm.

The paying to park shouldn't cause much of a delay at all, they usually move pretty quickly and have multiple people taking money. And there are two entrances to the parking lot so that helps. With the large crowd that was at the Piketon game, there weren't any issues as far was a long wait time, at least for me. If you want to avoid paying the parking fee, there are plenty of places to park along the streets.

Waverly wins 31-17.

Awesome stadium, best between Ross and Pike County for sure.

Waverly has a really fun team.

Those fellas in the striped shirts need to get better, no bearing on the outcome, but several head scratchers. The game was decided in that first 6 minutes of the 2nd half.

Only thing that I saw that Waverly has to even shore up is the kicking game. That should have been a 3 score game, but going 1-5 on PATs can't happen against NY or Burg. Good luck to the Tigers moving forward.

Waverly's starting PAT/FG kicker got a concussion in soccer this week and will probably miss another week.

That was one physical ball game.
12-10 at halftime and Tigers come out with three quick scores in the 3rd to extend to 31-10.

Unioto was right around 300 yards of offense and Waverly was over 450 I believe. Wolf and Marquez each scored twice for Waverly, while Fisher and Adkins scored for Unioto.

Like smurray said, super physical game. It was really fun to watch. I was proud of the Shermans, especially because they could have rolled over once Waverly exploded like they did to start the 2nd half

I don't know what was said at halftime, but the Tigers came out in the 3rd on a mission. Both O and D were fired up and ready to prove a point. It was a great game to watch. Both teams physical, and playing hard.

I never heard.
Turnovers hurt both teams. Most costly one Tigers lost a fumble reaching the ball out for the goal line in the first half.

Unioto: 9-21 passing for 130 yards

Fisher also had 67 yards rushing, Poole with 10 carries for 49 yards, and Carroll had 4 carries for 45 yards (I believe he has a bit of a bum wheel, which would explain the amount of touches)

Waverly's radio said that Howell threw for 303, he also had an INT with about 2 minutes left before the half. Nice player.
