South Gallias Brayden Greer will easily break 1000 this year in his 3rd varsity season.

That may be somewhat true to an extint. The game was more physical 30 years ago but on the other side of the coin, kids today train better and have better equipment than those days. Talent is talent and I'm quite sure Evan French or Mike Hall would be quality players in ANY era. There are more kids training year round. More kids going to showcases and playing AAU than EVER before.G.W.A. wrote:I feel some kids are reaching this milestone because talent levels are down and they are getting varsity time has freshmen where as 20 to 30 years ago you seldom saw freshmen on the varsity.
So yes there are more kids achieving the 1000 point club than in years past but that in NO WAY cheapens the accomplishment. The game today is better than it's EVER been. It's fast, it's wide open. I like seeing the game being played out in the open court and above the rim.

Garrett and Shanks from Western are close. But if they focus on 1000 they will be a 7 to 8 win team again. This team could be really good if Kyle can control them.
