According to OHSAA Tanks new rug will have her maiden voyage on August 22 Jamboree game against Coal Grove.

That schedule doesn't show the Jamobree game, you have the OVC Previews then the following week will be the Jamboree game.

ok Trap here is how it stands now,,,,,,,,,and u r correct, the Hornets will visit the Tank for the Jamboree game on Aug 22 at
7:00pm...........I am still checking but the word I got was Portsmouth and Ironton will not be playing in the OVC preview as they are not in the OVC for football yet........

update from my source in the Grove.......Portsmouth and Ironton will both play in the preview on Aug 16th at the Grove.......this is my final contribution on Ironton's schedule...........

Heres what 2trap posted on another thread about the previews.

August 16th will be here before we know it, and the lineup for this years previews looks to be really good.

Chesapeake vs. Rock Hill
South Point vs. Portsmouth
Fairland vs. Ironton
Coal Grove vs. Portsmouth West

I believe I have them in correct order but that will be out there at a later date.

I know we've always had Orange Goal Posts, does OHSAA have a rule that the Goal Posts have to be either white or yellow now? I was talking to a Gentleman at the field today and that's what he told me.

I'm anxious to see how the rubber "padding" is installed. I see its all ready to go in large bags on the parking lot. They must vibrate it into the turf somehow. I'll soon see I guess.

I was told when we were going to repaint them that they were supposed to be white or yellow but keep them orange until they make us change. I'm not going to tell you who told me but I will tell you this much. The person who told me, knew what he was talking about.
