That is really weird that two schools who have to play each other next year and both have vacancies the same date aren't playing. They are pretty close geographically too! Someone seems chicken if you ask me! lol

I can understand why they aren't just going ahead and scheduling each other.
Both teams would just have an open date again next year, so it's probably beneficial to both teams to find a school that will be able to fill a two-year agreement.

I would love for Wayne and Fairland to start playing again. I lived next to the football stadium growing up, and remember when I was younger we played Wayne (and Buffalo before the consolidation.) There would always be a ton of Pioneer fans, and they would all have those darn cowbells going crazy!

I would be all for that. After losing the Chesapeake game from the schedule, Wayne needs a close road game. Would like to see Fairland be annual again. Wayne just could not beat Fairland in the 90's. Even Wayne best team in the 90's, 1993, lost at Fairland, 15-14.

Now that the visiting bleachers are back functional, would love to make that short trip over there. If you thought Wayne traveled well then...it's about that and a half now. Football blew up over here since then.

Maybe 2015 and beyond?

Will Coal Grove return to the conference top?

Will South Point continue to improve?

Will Rock Hill again be a power to be reckoned with?

Will the whole conference be an entity to be respected in HS football circles?
