Brad's confusing lack of tourney success continues

Waverly is no slouch....every year their league gives them a tough schedule and every year they get seeded a touch low in the sectional. Waverly beating by one in the sectional doesn't surprise me.

It isn't about Waverly. They had a much tougher time with Chilly than with Unioto. As a matter of fact Chillicothe had the bases loaded with no outs in the bottom of the 7th tied 8-8. The SVC, top to bottom, is one of the toughest leagues in So. Ohio so Unioto should also benefit from that as much as Waverly does from a tough SOC. Just strange that Unioto is so tough defensively and pitching-wise and then seems to struggle in the tourney. I will say that the 1-7 in this year's D2 SE south was one tough cookie. Best of luck to Waverly and Jackson as they battle vs the North

I know you meant no ill towards anyone and the SVC is a very strong league as well. That sectional was very very solid for sure.

Whoever we face will be tough.

I want to be there on time, but not too early. Is the correct time 4:30 or 5pm? It will have to be a very quick game for the 2nd one to start 1.5 hrs later!

Yesterday it said 4:30.....it now says 5:00 and that helps me tremendously trying to get there from Whiteoak

It shows the baseball starting at 7:00. I see minimal issue with this. We have a brother/sister combo on each squad but it should be all but over before baseball starts.

I think it's more likely that the baseball game gets started late (as first Bball game is at 5:00) than a softball game going over. Also, I believe the baseball and softball fields are side by side and almost touch, so play your cards right and you can watch both games at once. Good luck to all.

The field does have lights and it is adjacent to baseball field. Also for toast...It is on RICHLAND Ave. right behind the Convo.

Logan Elm was outstanding. Jackson hit some balls well as the game went on but ended with just 2 hits.

Alive and well my friend,
Alive and well but I have been better.

The loss of a game is one thing but the loss of two great seniors, such as Brea Harvey and Rachel Wright, has taken the prevailing winds away from the sails of the U.S.S. X Man.
Both are outstanding young ladies and have bright futures ahead of them in whatever path they choose.

As for D2-
Logan Elm vs Waverly for a trip to the regionals.
I have a lot of respect for both programs, but if I have to choose between the two I'm going with Waverly.
Like in volleyball the U and very good Waverly club met in the sectionals with the Sherman's coming out on top in route to the regional championship game.
I see a lot of similarities between the two sports with both schools.
Hopefully Waverly can 1 up the U and make it to the State Tourney
