From my perspective the kids did nothing wrong. They played hard and lost to a very good team. The sportsmanship statement is someone trying to be petty. The game in question that had the penalties was a poorly officiated game. Both teams players were respectful to each other and played hard. From my seat in the stands the kids seem to be having fun playing football and that is what everyone needs to let them do and stop the pettiness.
