Kendall Meeks (Alexander) nearly killed me with a hooked Titleist into the dugout and then about 5 pitches later hit the longest HR I've ever seen by 50+ feet.

Waverly has been playing much improved ball, Falcons (12-4, 4-4) seem to struggle finding the holes in the outfield and keeping the runners from being thrown out. Kelsey Conkey continued to be strong on the mound ringing up 10 k's, but Minford has lost 3 of the 4 games in the 7th inning with two outs and the other loss had bases loaded with two outs, but couldn't get the runners home. Still Minford is playing good ball all around, just looking for those much needed breaks. However, a sweetener to this season would be for (Conkey), if she can muster 49 more strikeouts, she will break Minford's strikeout record (Jessica Moore 92-95 of 709 K's').

Probably would have already beaten that record if it wasn't for the 'scheduling error' from last year.
