I feel confident the fighting tigers will feel week 6 with a good quality opponent. gone of the schedule are oak hill, and Columbus bishop Hartley, and replaced with meigs and Jackson.i have no idea about the contracts or renewal of them.i miss the p west/ironton series as well.

Pretty good YTb. That's good to hear the series with Jackson was renewed, they had some great games over the years.

I just saw that dayton Dunbar is open week 6, that could a be good series if it happens. Luckily, you all won't have to worry about when you join the ovc.

I wish the ironton-west series never ended. Even though we hadnt been you guys since 90, I think at this point both programs are at a similar place. I actually had heard a few years ago that Ironton was gonna be put on the schedule week 9 this upcoming season, too bad it didn't happen.

Did we ever figure out if Ironton and Athens is officially a game?

Buddy I am still confused!

Not a game. I'm told there will not be a game between these two either despite on and off talks between the two on a few occasions. Athens is currently back in talks with Steubenville.

After looking at Ironton returners they should win 7 or 8 ball games this year. The line play will need to improve a great deal but they have the kids. I believe this will be a no excuse year for Vass having a strong team.
