As far as Ursuline/West. Great game. David versus Goliath. Was one of the coldest games I ever remember going to. Wish someone could find this tape and post it on YouTube.

It was the COLDEST until I was in Massillon for the Trimble state title game this fall ... brrrrrrrrr

As an 'outsider' for the West/Ursuline game, although I was cheering for the southeast Ohio team, I dubbed it the "Carhart-Parka Bowl" ..... lol

Carhart's and orange hunting toboggans on one side ... nice pullover parka's on the other.

And yes, I fit in nicely on the West side that night - glad I wore my Carhart jacket.

So true. One of the best stories I ever heard was about Zack Evans. Big tight end/defensive end we had. He was a stud. He had Louis Irizarry on his side. Irizarry was going to Ohio State. He asked Zack where he was going. He said Shawnee State but tonight I'm gonna kick your a.. And he did.
