We did have a class like that last year. And I knew several of them, and they weren't as basketball minded/oriented as this class. We just need a better coach in there. I'm not saying we have a terrible coach, we just need one that has a proven track record of winning.

You had one and you ran him out.

Chieftain2009 wrote:If you've watched the 7th grade boys basketball team at Logan, you know the future is bright at Logan! The team went 10-0, which is because multiple games were cancelled because of weather. They won each game by 15 points, and would've won by more if their coach would've left the starters in for more than 3 quarters each game. The style of offense that this team ran was sent down from varsity, and by all means was the completely incorrect type of offense to run for their team. These boys have been playing together since they were little kids and have a sort of chemistry that is unlike anything I've ever seen. Other classes won't have much to offer to this team once they hit high school, but the size of the 8th grade team will surely help. 3 of these boys that are on the 7th grade team will no doubt be moved up to varsity as freshman, and should be starters. The future is great for Logan basketball. :122245
Looks like there a couple tall boys on the team. Have any idea how tall?

Not happening! Get it through your thick skull Richard! You had a really good coach that you all ran out of town. Why do you think Stiverson didn't take the job? Because Logan parents and fans are as bad as they come. None are willing to face the facts.......the kids aren't talented. Always blame the coach. Same reason Walsh will never take the job. Logan doesn't deserve coaches like Walsh or Stiverson. Players develop players!
WRONG! Try again!

Motivator, who was the coach that had a proven track record of winning?

He was on the staff a few years back. He was not the varsity HC, but was the most qualified on that staff to be the HC IMO.

I've been telling who the coach will and should be. Think Koontz, and you will be close to correct. That's what I'm saying.
