A team may only have 22 regular season games on schedule. Just saying
Didn't Little sit out the Oshaa game and the foundation game will be the add on game from the school.

The infraction happened in the Gallia game. Little sat out the rest of that game plus the final football game with Warren to satisfy the OHSAA rule.. The second game was added on by the school, not the OHSAA. The school says the foundation game counts for them since it's the schools 'extra' punishment rule. Most schools don't add any extra punishment at all.

… yep the OHSAA requirement to sit out was taken of as LL sat the final football game of the season vs Warren, the 2nd game to sit is a school district penalty being imposed … that was satisfied with the Foundation Game vs Nelsonville York … everyone is now eligible for the Unioto opener on Dec 6th …

After digging a little deeper I stand corrected and you P Floyd are correct. As per rules and state regulations article 14.1 You must set 2 games except for FOOTBALL which is 1 game. But that being said a foundation game is not considered a game by the OSHAA but is by the school. LL looks good to go. Hard to believe that all other sports are a 2 game suspension but go figure this state is a football driven state $$$$$$$$$$.

But you also play half as many games in football, so it really does make sense. Unless, you go 20% of the games in every sport and then it would be 4 games in any other sport if you're going with 2 in football.

1987chieftains … what time is the scrimmage at Southeastern ? … not sure if I will go over, I was going to go to the Foundation Game with Nelsonville but Coach Helber didn't make it sound like he wanted me to attend ( said they weren't playing everyone, they wouldn't look too good with the different lineups etc) .. so I didn't go … I won't see the Purple until they take on Portsmouth on Dec 10th at LHS …

Foundation Games are dealt with differently by each coach & staff … some will treat them as a "practice"/scrimmage while others look it as an "additional" game on the schedule … I like to see it used as both LOL … at least half the game used as a "real" game … have the starters on the floor together, getting familiar with each other vs unfamiliar opponents … use the last quarter and a half to work in other players … otherwise I don't see any benefit of having the game BUT that's just me … sometimes coaches DON'T have a chance to decide if they are having a foundation game or not - they are just told when it is - be there LOL …

,,, thanks for the info 1987chieftains …

Honestly I don't see a future in Logan basketball. I think that they need a new school system with a different staff if they ever want anything to change with "logan basketball" until that happens, enjoy getting railed by every team.

^^^

… you seem to have wasted your first 7 posts … SEOPs is a great forum for high school sports "discussion" not for trashing schools, teams or players … I'll go out on the limb and say your stay on SEOPs will be short-lived IF you continue the trend in your posts so far …

I don't really see how you could even come up with something like this in your mind.

… Coach Helber had many good things to say about the Purple during their scrimmage at Southeastern … good things happen when you have "THE" lineup on the floor …good starting group and finding out what the rotation will be - who will accept their role and play "all in" for TEAM giving 100% for the time they are on the floor … liked hearing word that the Big Man played in the paint all night, took only 1 trey and knocked it down … he has to "show" the potential to take the 3 ball BUT he has to make his "living" in the paint … a 6-8 Fisher could be one of the better bigs in SEOhio IF he uses the 3ball as a tool to draw his man out only to take him back down inside … Lane Little at the pg position gives the Chiefs speed to breakdown the press … Chiefs have the tools this season to score in the half court - control tempo/ make EVERY possession important! not disposable … Go Chiefs !!!
