Rt. 7 from Gallipolis to Rome is not a bad two lane road, but I think you still have to drive through downtown Gallipolis which can eat time. Best bet is US23 to US52 then SR7. Allow at least 90 minutes drive time from Waverly if Rosemont Hill is closed.

If you take 160-6-588 you don't but I still don't know if it is worth it. Probably not.

They have decent size up front. They like to use their athletes in the short passing game. Their qb makes good decisions and has a nice arm. On defense they struggle some defending the pass. Waverly should win this game soundly. However they will know they were in a fight!

They were in a dogfight Friday night. Unioto should take the SVC, they have some very nice athletes.

If FHS secondary has a good game this could very well be a dandy

I say Waverly takes this one , but if Fairland can get the mid to short pass game going may be interesting! Waverly seems to be weak in short to mid yardage pass plays!

I would go down 23 and cut through Lucasville Minford road to 335 and take 52 from there if it were me.

Hopefully Fairlands secondary can get a couple stops but I feel Waverly's air attack will be too much in the end. Waverly wins 49-36

I'm not very familiar with Fairland, only time I have seen them play in recent years was last year against Waverly. I know that game was pretty ugly, believe it was 50-0. It seems like Fairland has improved from last year, just based off of reading things on here. But either way, the Tigers need to be ready to play. This is a new season so last years score means nothing. Hope Waverly can go down to Fairland and take care of business and bring back the W.

Fairland has played West, Burg and Ironton....ALL on the road. No one in southern Ohio has played three tougher games. They lost by 2 points to West which is 3-0, beat Ironton and hung around with Burg.

I think it's safe to say this is going to be Waverly's stiffest test yet. It's going to take a monster effort by the Tigers. Fairland will be sky high for their first home game and having just beaten Ironton.

Waverly's defense is making progress and playing hard. I wouldn't mind seeing the offense add a few new wrinkles to take some of the work load off Kritzy. We need to keep that boy healthy. We're going to have to be ready from the start. Go Tigers!

Tigers definitely need a couple new wrinkles on offense. Can't just keep handing the ball to Kritzy up the middle. Fullback carries, jet sweeps, something. Like to see is carries closer to 20-25 instead of the 30's. Defenses will start keying on it.

Gregory Jones will be impossible to stop in this one. 25-31, 378 yds passing last week. Shabazz Thomas is a great weapon for Waverly at reciever.

I agree as well. Do they not have anyone else who can step in and take some carries to give Kritzy a break? I know Brooker was that guy preseason, but with him being out I feel like they need to find someone who can at least come in here and there to take some snaps. I know they have Thompson who could, but they don't seem to use him much. You have to believe that there is someone on that team who they could trust enough to take 5-10 carries a night.
