OVC POY
Re: OVC POY
although the OVC does not pick a POY I would have to go with either Brandon Barnes from South Point or Connor Markins from Coal Grove. My second pick from South Point would be Eli Ketron he does not always score the most points however he plays aweome defense and rebounds quite well.

Re: OVC POY
You have to go with the complete player. Barnes is good offensively. But there are others that are great on defense and offense as well.fanofthegame13 wrote:If they did have player of the year it would be very easy to choose. Barnes

That's kinda strange. I thought all conferences had a POY. Do they select an all conference 1st and 2nd team?unclebob wrote:although the OVC does not pick a POY
Re: OVC POY
Yes they do pick first team and honorable mention from all the teams. the # of spots your team gets is based on the order of finish. Kinda not fair because a bad team may have two really good players but only one can get first team and the 2nd is honorable mention. A great team may have 3 great players and two so so kids and the so so kids get an honorable mention. It should be a vote but it is basically the coach giving the award to whoever he wants.

The SHAC does not pick a player of the year either, and they do not split 1st and 2nd team.4th n Goal wrote:That's kinda strange. I thought all conferences had a POY. Do they select an all conference 1st and 2nd team?unclebob wrote:although the OVC does not pick a POY
