Division 3 sectional championships

Post by buckeyedan »

No chatter on here. Post your predictions.

Valley:

McClain by 27 over rock hill
Lynchburg by 2 over west ... I still smell upset
Piketon by 9 over west union
Northwest by 8 over Huntington

Rock hill:

Fairland by 26 over Milford
Oak hill over Chesapeake by 14
Ironton by 5 over south point
Valley by 11 over burg

Athens:

Nelsonville by 21 over meigs
Alexander by 7 over southeastern
Wellston by 3 over belpre
Crooksvile by 8 over west fall

You don't have to post by how many but let's see your thoughts. I will be at valley to watch west. Discuss the best games of the day too if you wish.

Lastly, would they consider canceling the games for snow.

I pretty much agree with the above picks except maybe the Valley-Burg game. The two games earlier in the year the Burg was without their starting point guard. she is back in time for the playoffs she has played in 3 games at the end of the year. So this game could go either way.

And the Chesapeake girls knocked off Oak Hill 54-47 in OT. Congrats to the Lady Oaks on their great season and congrats to Peake on the huge upset.

That snaps that LONG district streak does it not? I know Oak Hill was ranked high this year, but I didn't think this team had a long touney run in them like some of their other highly ranked teams. But I'm even shocked it was this short...Wow!
