District 14 POY
Re: District 14 POY
I forget who all is in district 14....but Fairfield obviously is and Heather Cox has to be one of the favorites. Pell from Peebles.

I do not know....and it may only be coaches that pay their dues can have kids be honored.
Re: District 14 POY
I'm fairly sure that District 14 includes all schools in Scioto, Pike, Ross, Adams, and some schools in Highland and Pickaway counties.

So East, ND, Clay, Green, NB, Western, Eastern Pike, Fairfield, Whiteoak, Manchester, North Adams, Peebles, Paint Valley.....assuming coaches have to pay their yearly fees to be included.
Re: District 14 POY
Even though she is a sophomore Carson Roney from Eastern Pike she is averageing a double double and around 24 pts a game.

Is Eastern Reedsville in District 14? I say Pell from Peebles Dstrict player of the year, if Eatern isn't in it. If Eastern R. Then it's Burdette
Re: District 14 POY
You also have to divide the districts up by Divisions too. I don't believe there are any Division 1 schools in District 14 so it is just three divisions II, III, and IV. Eastern Meigs is not in District 14..... Even Oak Hill isn't in 14. I'm pretty sure that district - not sure what number that is - begins with Jackson and Oak Hill and goes east and south along the Ohio River.

Re: District 14 POY
D4 would have to be Pell from Peebles. I think Hall from South Webster needs consideration but she is a Sophomore and I know how some coaches don't believe in voting underclassmen for this award. Roney from EP is a player too. In D3, I'd also vote for the girl from Greenfield McClain. I can't think of any dominate girl in D2. Doesn't mean there isn't one, I just can't remember any at this time.

Triple, I agree bout Hall in the running, but it seems in the past it is a career award, ie give it to the best Senior, Pell I believe is avg'ing 20+, only playing on a 2 loss team, was state ranked, so she. Will get the nod probably and no slight to Hall or anyone else in D4.
Re: District 14 POY
It may very be Pell but Cox at 18 and 10 a game has to be strongly in the mixTripleplay wrote:D4 would have to be Pell from Peebles. Iron, you are right almost forgot bout her. I believe she is avg'ing 18 and 12, and plays in the post and sees alot if attention. So 3 strong candidates, hopefully her coach and ther SHAC coaches make the trip to vote.
