Ohsaa has an open spot on 9/19 week 4 for Valley. Any news on that. Peake was on there but they have them playing notre dame on the 20th

Valley has filled the spot that Chesapeake left them scrambling for in week 4. The Indians will be traveling to play Fleming County KY. Not exactly the best matchup, but when you are trying to find a game 8 weeks before the season starts, you take what you can get to make sure your seniors get to play at least 10 games.

I should be over by the stadium tonight. I will snap a few pics and get them posted. The place looks great!

Good to see they are going to get 10 games....I was able to find some information on Fleming County.

They went 3-7 last year, but are equal to a Division III Ohio School. They had a common opponent in South Point, a game in which the Pointers won 20-14. They return 10 starters on each side of the ball, so they will be much improved from a year ago.

I think the two biggest weaknesses is going to be their size on the line and senior leadership with only a few this year. But they are returning a big and stout class of juniors and with the best qb in the league imo they have as good as chance as any to win the SOC again
