No complaints on the field..It looks really nice...As a personal preference, I like the Indian in the center as well...How are the linemen looking as they battle for positions?

I like the new v but would have liked a new Indian. How have we been with injuries so far? Any other teams going to be at the scrimmage?

no why ? Minor sprains ...due to lack of conditioning only

The ones That work hard will be the ones that play

@ FIDO ... foot work getting better on a couple who will be playing alot through the course of the season and that's what we need ...someone who wants to get better every practice

I really didn’t have any doubt that it would be done lol. We all know the Indians run a 1st class organization and know how to get things done right. Kudos

Just got back from the scrimmage the offense looked good. Receivers dropped too many passes tho. #5 brown looked good. Loop and Howard ran the ball pretty good. The oline looked better than I suspected even without spradlin anyone know why he didn't play? The dline is small but fast. The linebackers had a hard time getting to the edge to stop the sweeps. The secondary looked pretty good allowed a few playaction passes but that's expected playing a wishbone team. Overall the looked good for the first scrimmage. Oh and I was really surprised by the size of the freshmen. I had to leave before they played tho.

I went to the Valley - Symmes Valley scrimmage today, Valley was ahead 2-1 when JV's came in. First #50 and #55 didn't play for Valley but look like they would be a big part of the O-line for Valley. Valley has good size up front on offense but are definitely smaller on the defensive front than last year. The QB from Valley is the real deal, has a great arm and good mobility and he made pretty good decisions. Valley is very physical all around, and really controlled the line of scrimmage on offense. Valley's running backs did not go down on first contact once the entire scrimmage and had several good sized runs. Valley had 2-3 dropped passes that would have been huge gains, but did complete a long TD pass to #4. On Defense Valley stopped SV the first drive and forced a punt. The second drive SV had about 15-20 play drive and converted a ton of 3rd downs and scored. I am concerned about Valley's ability of the defensive line to control the game like they did last year, again they had a couple of guys out who would probably play big in the middle so it is hard to gauge. Valley brought the wood several times on defense... some very big hitters for sure

From this brief view of the team I think Valley is in real good shape this year. SV will definitely compete in SOC 1

I like the new V in the middle of the field and I talked to a bunch of others that love it. In fact, they seem to want to fight about it. :122245 ... Kudos to all the people involved...
Great job
