Both teams are open on Saturday. Why not play then?

@ nice guy,
If Logan Elm would play this game Saturday, I believe it gives them their 5th game in 8 days (according to their schedule pending other makeups). Highly doubt that'll happen.

@Crab's brother,
I'm with you on this one. I would like to know why it wasn't played last night. Schools are 10 minutes apart. Makes little to no sense to me!

Nope

Both teams in contention for the No.1 seed in their sectionals. Neither wants to risk a loss.

make-up date? Monday Feb. 10th ... ?

These two teams have played their way into the drivers seat. So if they wanna make it up after the draw, so be it! If u wanna drive the car dont lose games. Especially to the team thats currently in the drivers seat...at home...

Any coach would do that! if not they are not a smart coach! A macho coach, but not a smart one...

How is Zane Trace in the "Driver's Seat?"
Valley and Portsmouth have pounded the two teams they lost to.

You're right ... It may be in the best interest of ZT to play this game before the 9th.

A number of games were postponed last night, so it's not like ZT-LE was the only one. I would've liked to see it played, but it's kind of hard to argue that we need to cancel school for the cold and then have a game the same day.

I see Zane Trace getting the three seed. The SOS of Valley and Portsmouth is much more impressive. ZT's biggest non-league win right now is Vinton County, which isn't quite as appealing as past years.

Sorry i was meaning it more from the LE standpoint. I agree with you on the Valley PHS statement! it was mostly just a lil poke at bulldog... :122245

If LE don't wanna play ZT b4 the draw then they surely want no part of Warren or Athens.

If Logan Elm were to play ZT on Saturday, they'd have to play six games over a 11-day stretch, which would also include two Sundays. Don't think too many teams are going to schedule that.

... I take it there is no make up date set for this one ? and it may not be made up due to having to prioritize league games vs non-league games ... we'll wait and see though ...

They are looking at a date right now for the game, but it may not come together. That's all I can say. Last year, Feb. 17-19 would've been open dates to make it up, but with both D3 and D2 losing a spot to regionals, that creates more mid-week sectional semifinal play.
