EB was down in this 17-27 at the half ... when Eastern Brown struggles to score they REALLY struggle ... at the Beasts of the Southeast vs Coal Grove EB had only 13 points at the half , could not hit the ocean ... going to have trouble in the post season with the scoring inconsistencies imo ...

If the game was at Hillsboro....Eastern typically has trouble there.

The Sciotoville East Tartans defeated the Ironton St. Joseph Flyers tonight in overtime 64-62. The game was played at Ironton. Pfloyd this puts the Tartans at 7-7 on the season, you were missing a victory.

WCH v Clinton Massie ....canceled. I love how life shuts down when it's cold. What do schools up north do with bitter cold....unbelievable! We ride warm buses and play in toasty gyms. If the bus breaks down argument is bogus, everyone and their brother has a cell phone. If a frog had wings he wouldn't bump his butt on the ground....if my aunt had...well you know...

bballfan, just a few years ago I was coaching jr hi basketball at Piketon. Traveling during cold weather about 15 degrees to Paint Valley. There are 2 ways to get to PV from Piketon, the quickest is over Potts Hill near Pike Lake, which as its name suggests is very steep and not good for a bus. The 2nd is Blaine Highway, which is longer but no big hills to go over. The bus takes Blaine, most of the parents take Potts Hill. Now if you don't know southwest Ross county, its in the middle of nowhere. Well, guess what the bus breaks down, now guess what? NO Cell service. Since most of our parents took the other route, and there is very little traffic on Blaine Highway, even though its called a highway, we couldn't flag anyone down. I started walking to the nearest house which was about a mile up the road while the other coach and driver sat on a bus and it doesn't take long for it to get cold inside a bus! Finally on my way to the house, freezing everything I have off, a car drives by and says they will drive up the road where service is better and call one of our parents. All in all we sat on that bus for nearly an hour in sub freezing temperatures.

We were stuck with no way to get help immediately. That is why districts have to make the call on days like today. We were cold but probably would survive for a while, however on a day like today and tonight that situation could lead to death or loss of limbs from frostbite!

Could understand that....but not all schools have to travel in the sticks to get to places. Heck, I'm just getting cabin fever....tired of rescheduling games. Our schedule looks like an NBA schedule coming down the stretch. End the season with 3 league games in 3 days.
