Athens is the only school that doesn't pick its refs. Someone at ou that runs the officiating picks the refs

Should have done what they did in 'Friday Night Lights' ... "where should we play? How about the Astrodome?!"

"Where should we play 'Dogs vs Warriors'? How about the Convo?!"

Athens tried to get Warren to play it at the convo last year and this year. Warren declined

Wait...Warren declined to play at a neutral site? Including a neutral site where they would be playing tournament games no less? Let's say that Athens HS was under construction and the Convo was the only place to play...would they have canceled the game?

There is less than 1% of me that believes Warren would have turned down the Convo for a regular season game last year, unless it meant giving up a massive gate at this years game. I know 93dog is just pulling WarriorBlue's lariat by saying to move the game and I wish others would pick up on that. A home-and-home series is meant to give each team a large ticket gate, not "be fair" because less fans might get to see it.

Why would warren wanna play a fast team on big court? This game is just gonna leave 100s of ppl mad. I can't leave Athens till 6. I already have a ticket. If I don't get a seat I will ask for a refund

Plenty of standing room!

Exacatly right. Home & Home is ment to be just that. There are older fans that have supported these schools for decades. Many of who can't travel greats distances at night. It's fitting that there be quality games on the home portion of the schedule.

Don't think even using a DI facility would be allowed. Alexander had to move their December event because of NCAA restrictions on high schools playing regular season games a DI venues.

PFloyd usually agree with you 100% of the time but I think I gotta say you missed a great opportunity this week. In the famous PFloyd Elite Poll. Warren and Athens deserve to be co #1. At this stage of the year they both are playing tremendous basketball right now. Both are stocked with unbelievable talent, most importantly if playing ANY other team in the SE District each would be the favorite. I realize LE has the better record but SOS clearly isn't where Warren and Athens are.

GO BIG BAD BLUE!

WarriorBlue ... I definitely COULD have gone with Warren and Athens at the top of the heap as CO #1's ... BUT there is a little bump in the road named Logan Elm that won't let me do that ! I have seen the Braves play multiple times as well this season vs good competition - Washington CH (neutral court), Circleville (at Roundtown) , Athens (at Athens) ... not sure it is fair to say that LE is not on par with Warren & Athens ... just as Warren/Athens have improved Logan Elm has continued to refine an outstanding defensive TEAM, and a deadly offensive juggernaut ... last season LE had the defense to keep opponents below/at 50 points per outing BUT offensively Coach Stiverson & Coach Holbert didn't have consistent offensive weapons to go with Dillon Young to get into the 50's themselves!- the 2013-14 Edition of the Braves have those offensive weapons surrounding D. Young - Ridge Young, Logan Thompson,Trent Congrove,Waylon Altrip ... I'm a BIG fan of what Coaches Stiverson & Holbert do at Logan Elm ... 2 of the best tacticians of the game in Stiverson/Holbert ... I didn't throw Logan Elm under the bus to have a major marquee game between Athens & Warren Tuesday night for the #1 spot on the Elite 8 list ... I'm like Fox News "Fair & Balanced" LOL ... the game Tuesday night is BIG ENOUGH without the 2 two teams involved sitting atop the Elite 8 ... the winner Tuesday night may get there by weeks end anyway! as Logan Elm has a rematch with Circleville at LE Friday night ( guess where the Pfloyd Tour will be Friday night? LOL) ... Portsmouth entertains Warren Friday night ... I will see Portsmouth take on Fairfield Christian in Wellston Saturday evening at 6:15 - so it will be a GREAT week of HS hoops Below the Lancaster-Dixon Line !!!! and it "ain't" even the post season yet !!! ALL of these great matchups !!! I love this game !!! LOL

I'll be listening to your broadcast tonight Dog and hopefully we can get this game in tomorrow. If the weather doesn't cooperate tomorrow could it possibly be played later this week?

... hopefully the snow "blows thru" tonight ...does it's 2-4 inch dance with school closings etc BUT is finished in the morning so the roads are cleared - all main highways getting to Warren (although getting the players to the high school might be an issue the admin doesn't want to deal with) ... I'm free on Wednesday night as well !!!

WE beat that Warren team IN THE WarriorDome!!! where's the love for the Trojans being in the #1 spot???!!! WE , PHS, beat the Liberty Christian team that BEAT your #1 Logan Elm Braves!!! WE have ONLY lost 2 games - John Hay in OT out of Cleveland and the little stubble on the river to a VERY GOOD South Point team ... What IF WE - PHS - knock off Warren for the SECOND time this Friday night????!!!!!! won't that make that old Ouija Board "explode" ???!!!!! - just sayin' " ...

... so many scenarios this week ... I can't help but smile just typing the possibilities LOL ...

LOL ... you're the best Floyd.

I too feel sorry for the Trojans ... they have some serious marquee wins on their resume - and they are clear down at #5.

Tough crowd I tell ya.
