Yes this one will be close until right after RV steps off the bus. After that it will be ugly, early and often.

You're prolly right. I like the running clock because it brings the agony of a game like this to an end quicker. The only negative is it will keep the Bucks second half scoring down. Just have to score as many as possible in the first half I guess.

I'm pretty sure the junior and sophomore class put a beat down on your Buckeyes in junior high. As for this year I agree it will be a tough one for the raiders but to say that last years score will be as close as it will be for a long time is ludicrous.Ground Buck wrote: ↑Mon Sep 11, 2017 10:00 am Last year was as close a score as you'll see for a while in this match up. At about 10 pm Friday RV will be wondering why they ever agreed to go into the Ohio Division. Last years beat down will pale in comparison to the one this year.

That was a great gameJason Vorhees wrote: ↑Mon Sep 11, 2017 1:51 pm The last RV win was so epic that N-Y''s staff got into a fisticuffs during halftime and caused them to resign.

You're right it's not. I would only expect the kids to improve. With that being said do you think your kids have improved 40 points? Do you think maybe that RV has improved as well from those junior high years?Ground Buck wrote: ↑Tue Sep 12, 2017 8:20 amOrange and Brown wrote: ↑Mon Sep 11, 2017 10:33 pmCause Jr high football is the same as high school............
Yeah it doesn't really work that way. Juniors at Meigs trounced everybody in the league for two years. Half of them don't play anymore. That dominance of one class hasn't really translated yet. It didn't really at the JV level. It's about the kids you have in all four grades.RaiderDad wrote: ↑Tue Sep 12, 2017 9:58 amYou're right it's not. I would only expect the kids to improve. We'll never know cause there is no chance NY will lose. A source close to the situation has overheard some of the coaches say they'll quit coaching if they lose this one, so that tells me they know they're going to win.Jason Vorhees wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2017 12:39 pm If RV wins, will there be another boxing match between coaches in the parking lot after the game? If so, this game needs to be on Pay per view! The fight of the century.
